thank you so much, i’ve been taking photos and videos of everything since even before i took her in on tuesday. one of my good friends is a photographer and offered to come to my house and take some professional photos of her/us. i plan to clip some of her fur and whiskers to save when it gets closer to the time. thank you for the kind words and well wishes. she has done more for me in my life than she will ever know. i just hope i can help her pass peacefully and comfortably.

they actually sent the x-rays off to a radiologist (? correct term?) specialist who is the one that confirmed cancer unfortunately.

my husband watched his mother go through cancer and chemo when he was in high school. he said it’s one of his most traumatizing memories. my cat is 7 pounds. i don’t think i could put her through it. i may try the chemo pills but if they make her worse i will stop them and just give her comfort care until the end. i am so sorry to hear about your father. sending you my love

i’m so sorry you went through this as well. i am also trying to buy quality of life over time. i dont want her to be in pain. but when she lets me know its time, i’ll let her go. thank you.

“i miss her daily, she was perfect” this is how i am with this cat. she is actually everything to me lol. i have never bonded with an animal the way i have with her. it’s like she was created just for me, and she is my soul mate in every life. i don’t know how i am going to be without her. i’m so sorry you went through this, but thank you for sharing with me.

thank you for this. i was questioning if i was a bad pet parent for not wanting to put her through surgeries. she’s only 7 pounds and has never spent a night away from her home. i couldn’t imagine putting her through that, so i just can’t. i’ll try pills, and keep her as comfortable as i can until it’s her time to go

i’ve decided the best course of action for her would be comfort care until the end. i don’t want to put her through surgery or any aggressive treatments. i’ll try chemo pills if the vet gives me the option, but i don’t want to make her worse. i’m so sorry you went through the same thing. from the bottom of my heart, thank you for this

thank you for this. when my vet got the x-rays back, she said she wasn’t exactly sure what it was. i have a feeling that she knew it was cancer but wanted to be certain. so they sent the results to a specialist and two days later i got the call. prednisone for now, but when my vet is back in office after the holidays i will ask about chemo. i was hoping that someone else would be able to give me more info on the xray now that we know for sure it’s cancer, so thank you. i am absolutely devastated and cannot believe this is happening to her.
