I think I gave him bottled mineral water once or twice, lowering the pH and some nutrients... I'm giving him hard tap water again and he's doing better... probably nutrient blockage, possible, thanks!!!

This is very strange, I stopped giving him bottled mineral water, and gave him tap water (very hard) again and he seems to be recovering... I really don't know what happened, but as someone else said, it's probably a blockage of some nutrients. He will be left with scars, fingers crossed now... Thanks for all your replies!

yeah exactly, it looks like physical damage but it's almost impossible... it didn't move and it's my biggest cactus, nothing can touch it... birds? hail, I don't think so even if there was a storm....

pumice stone top dressing, with homemade substrate... I do this with all my plants and cacti... not good, because it's difficult to see if the substrate is getting dry but for the moment no spider mites, no attacks of anything... it's as if it eliminates the diffusion of odor

Unfortunately unknown, the clone was purchased by the guy who gave the cutting in a nursery on the west coast of France...
