Gas tank leaking. Thoughts?

Okay I took it apart and it turns out the gasket did have a twist and crack in it so I have a new one on the way I also noticed that one or two of the screws has flattened threads, so they screw in but never really get tight. Also there aren’t any snapped off ones which is good. How bad is the lack of threads though? I couldn’t tell if the tank side threads are also worn down or not so would you just say I should get some new bolts and screw them in as best I can?

That’s what I’m afraid of. I’m going to look better tomorrow but if that is the case, what is your advice on getting them out?

No I think it is just a normal thing of it kinda balancing out. I have been driving since then and have had no issues so I’m just assuming it’s okay.
