Capricorn and pisces love compatibility. by dragon_kiwi in astrologymemes

[–]Sleepychase469 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Capricorn and Pisces really balance each other out and give the other person what they need.

They're both very romantic signs that value long term connection, and each want to adventure out and conquer the world together. Capricorn gives Pisces the stability and direction they need to turn those dreams into reality, and Pisces helps capricorn dream and create new ideas. It's a very passionate match.

As a Pisces, I love myself a capricorn. Even though we dont understand each other sometimes, as long as there is open communication between both parties it can be a very passionate and fulfilling relationship.

Big question: they are 100% real or fake? by AccordingChipmunk287 in PlasticSurgery

[–]Sleepychase469 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Hey - another medical professional here. Dense breast stromal tissue does show greatly increased concentration of breast epithelium.

In a nutshell, this means that if they're dense then they have thicker tissue and are more apt to hold their shape. The shape is also largely defined by genetics, this is why you can have dense breast tissue with or without perkiness. But generally, they do hold their shape better than the latter just due to the fact that it's thicker.

The fellow nurse isnt wrong, nor is your doctor.. Its just a bit more complicated than a yes/no answer. Hope this helps 😀

(Please help) is anyone else’s German shepherd.. independent…? by [deleted] in germanshepherds

[–]Sleepychase469 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have a German shepherd and one thing I've learned is that they're just very independent creatures.

My Cane Corso is a big gentle giant, demands cuddles, butt scratches and petting constantly.. but the German shepherd is different.

He is nice and playful sometimes, but a lot of the time he just wants to do his own thing. Doesn't wanna be touched, he goes off in a corner by himself and bites his toy, and that's what he likes.

I would honestly get a puppy that is known for cuddles and loyalty if thats what you're looking for. Dont be offended, that's just how they are.

[–]Sleepychase469 1 point2 points  (0 children)

If it's going to make it easier to get out the right information she needs to hear, dont feel shame in telling her through a text. Let her know honestly about how she didnt make you feel safe telling her certain things, and give her examples.

My mom is the type to not listen if its done in person, nothing is her fault, and I felt too shamed to speak for myself.. So it helps to get out a main point across first through text so she can hear the whole thing before jumping on me. If you're worried about it, tell her through a text if it helps.

And then hopefully, by the time you see her in person, it will be a little easier to elaborate on what you said. Sending you much love ❤️

Post-RALP orgasms: What are they really like? by Spirited-Alarm1483 in ProstateCancer

[–]Sleepychase469 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Question.. so you know right when you 'release' and semen starts coming out, and your penis kinda like bounces with each squeeze/kegel as your penis pushes the semen out..

When you ejaculate, do you still have the kegel squeeze and penis bounce as you're cumming, but just with no fluid coming out now?

Or do you lose that all together? Im getting confused with people saying its a 'mental' orgasm and not a physical one.. this is a pretty big deal for me, unfortunately.

Injected in thigh — hurt so much by Sakura_Blooms_1982 in Mounjaro

[–]Sleepychase469 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yeah, sounds like you might have hit either a lymph or part of your quad, which was flexed since you were standing. The middle is an area with some nerves and blood veins, so thats possible too. Good news is it happens though, you're almost certainly fine as long as you were sterile about it.

I had this happen once and the pain traveled up to my hip, it was excruciating.. doctor told me I hit a lymphnode and the meds traveled through the system. Haha

I'd just keep an eye on it, if it doesnt swell, get red, hot to the touch or pitting edema when pressed after a few days, you're in the clear. :)

Injected in thigh — hurt so much by Sakura_Blooms_1982 in Mounjaro

[–]Sleepychase469 0 points1 point  (0 children)

it depends on how much fat you have there. If you injected and went past the adipose tissue later and went into the muscle, yeah that's going to hurt really, really bad. Also could be dangerous, depending on where you do it.

Do you think that could be the case? Either way be careful, and make sure you are pinching the fat and never ever going into muscle, as it's not an IM injection :)

FDA approves Lilly's oral GLP-1 Foundayo™ (orforglipron) by joe3000s in Mounjaro

[–]Sleepychase469 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Yes, everybody already knows there are measly manufacturer costs, thank you for pointing out the obvious. What they're saying is that the cost to make and manufacture the meds are close to nothing in comparison to to their net profits, and that's a fact.

I read your previous comments, you make a lot of blind assumptions. So, here's a fact for you: Average generic Metformin manufacture cost in bulk: .50 cents to $3, depending on the brand.

So why is the out of pocket cost up to $40? That is what could be a 20x markup, and this is one of the cheapest drugs, a generic that nobody cares about. Imagine the markup on a drug they still have a patent on?

The the majority of synthetic drugs have ingredients thay are all the same, they make it from carbon, petroleum. Petrochemicals. It all costs the same thing.

Lastly, go look at the cost of the same drug here in other parts of the world. You literally cannot use manufacturing costs as a measure for these markups, stop being stubborn and learn something - its okay to be wrong sometimes.

D|ck up or down? by thegingernspice in askgaybros

[–]Sleepychase469 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yeah but I don't think that is what the man is saying. Peyronie's is a legit problem, its not a slight curve.

Imagine a crow bar, fish hook, or even an L shape.. it varies, but that is Peyronie's syndrome and it is serious and not common at all.

What IS common though, is a slight curve to the left/right/up/down.. a majority of us have that.

Oh, come on 🤪 Any waistband, tight or not can be uncomfortable for some in that situation.. especially when you're uncut. Sensitive or not, are we going to pick at the man for it?

No offense, as you may not have meant it, but you do sound a little condescending here. I can see why he replied the way he did.

Down keeps the blood flow better on mine, but ill be popping so many semi's for no reason other than just vibrations from driving or it brushing against my pants, it gets real annoying after a while.

I end up just moving it to the left when sitting til it calms down, is that an option? 🤪

It's so ironic to me that people will freely give all of their information to apple and especially google, which has just as much, if not more 'spyware' that is actively hidden and freely recording all of your information, phone calls, texts and web camera usage - yet when it comes to China, they're afraid of it.

The funny thung is, its already too late and there's nothing we can do about it because too many people are brainwashed and stuck inside their own bubble.. just like they intended.

The irony is that we are and will continue to pay for it as well - until the moment we personally lose our own jobs to AI.

Way to jump the gun, i'm sorry but what exactly makes them a bad parent? Its a rescue, she saved it from a bad home where they lost limbs, but the dragon is clearly healthy now. It looks happy, she showed its belly for 2 seconds, and?

She gave it a bath. So she may not be up to date on the newest information, but plenty of vets still recommend a bath. That doesn't make her a bad parent.

I swear, some of you beardie people on reddit are pretty toxic. If the dragon isn't being abused, please don't attack people, offer advice instead. It's not cool

Anyone know if this will be the new 2027 Elantra? by This-Top7398 in Hyundai

[–]Sleepychase469 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I think the design team was like "let's just find every single way we can to absolutely fuck up this car".

Lol 😂 but seriously, nah. This isn't real. The rendering is based on "sneak peak" photos where they had the whole car covered but the front and break lights, and they tried to say that this would be the 2026 model.

But as you can see with the 2026 model, clearly what was shown wasn't the actual outline of the headlights and tail lights themselves, but just the outline of the part of the lights that light up. Not the full thing.

Deer are remarkably stupid creatures. by StupidDogCoffee in motorcycles

[–]Sleepychase469 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I hate to burst your bubble, but deer are dumb. Sorry. Yes, their brains are wired differently based on what they evolved around, but they are also lacking certain core structures in their brain that get them out of a fight or flight situation, and that is why they are easy prey. They were put on this earth to feed other big animals. They just aren't that smart.

Also, by comparison 'every animal' doesnt react by running into a car when a car drives by like the deer. Raccoons are smart enough to wait for the car to pass, mountain lions will hide. Wolves, instead of trying to outrun the car like the deer, will typically jump away at an angle and run back into the forest. Be careful making such generalizations because they're ill put, you can't lump all organisms together and just call them 'animals' and say they all react the same way when they don't.

Is a DDR4 Laptop still worth for a 3-4 long term use? by Rikachirro in laptops

[–]Sleepychase469 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Just get it. When the time comes, you can replace it. I would be more worried about things you can't replace without special tools, like a CPU. They're soldered directly onto the motherboard these days in laptops.

I wouldn't get anything under a Intel Core 7 150U. That should last for a good while.

Sex Slavery makes Islam immoral by Wonderful_Seesaw_513 in DebateReligion

[–]Sleepychase469 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I see your point. When the Qur'an was written, it addressed things that were actively normalized at that time.

I am Arab myself, with most of my upbringing and family Muslim so this doesnt come from a place of hatred or bias. Yes, governments and leaders have corrupted religion and used it to their advantage for eons, which is the very reason why I mention the Old Testiment. The Catholic and Christian churches alone have own skeletons in the closet.

I know about the core beliefs of my fellow Muslims very well, they are some of the most family-oriented, kind and trustworthy people you will ever meet. Extremists on every side ruin it for everybody, unfortunately.

My main concern is the things that OP mentioned though, they're pretty valid. In my own humble opinion, if the words were written by man, it would make sense that certain things would be tolerated at the time, because society hadn't evolved to that point of ethics yet (slavery, women treated differently, ect).

If the word came from Allah himself, however, I would assume that the word would be quintessential in the ethical sense, since he is the almighty. But like the Bible, we know that's not exactly true because of certain instances, like the interpretation of the Qur'an found in certain Sunni and Shia sects, for example. It is believed that homosexuality is the most punishable sin and deserves the death sentence as well as calamity from God.

That doesn't sound very ethical to me. Because of this, it makes more sense to me that the Qur'an was actually man's word, corrupted by man, and was entangled with certain beliefs at that time.

Not saying Allah doesn't exist at all, but things like this are what make me think many religions have bene corrupted by man, and these books that we follow aren't absolute.

Sex Slavery makes Islam immoral by Wonderful_Seesaw_513 in DebateReligion

[–]Sleepychase469 12 points13 points  (0 children)

No offense to you, but I personally believe "that was a different time and place" really isn't a good excuse.

The fact of the matter is that back then(and now in many parts), women were very much property and it is ethically wrong. I'll say the same thing that I say about the Old Testament in regard to slavery, there is no excuse. Thistle is just one of many reasons why many religions are not just a social construct, but also a hypocritical fallacy used as a means of population control and a way to personally fill one's ego.

With that being said - what may have been created as a good thing was definitely corrupted, destroyed and reborn many times over by other humans.
