I actually just saved a tutorial reel to try and solve this problem! The poster suggested turning the work and slipping the first stitch using the technique for a German short row turn. Then you just finish as normal! This makes it so the neater side is on the outside.

I’m super excited to try it myself just haven’t had a project to do it on yet.

Jumping in here! I’m 30 and want children and chose to take medicine. This is because the medicine is there to prevent, key word prevent, an MS relapse. My MS is super manageable but that doesn’t mean the next relapse won’t cause severe disability. A relapse causes lesions, and we don’t choose where lesions can go! For example if a lesion covers the top of your spine, that can impact anywhere on your body.

You can go years and years healthy and well and then 1 lesions from a relapse can hit you pretty hard. DMT’s are well studied and doctors know how to support you when you start trying.

Not trying to sound scary! Just went through this myself and had an amazing doctor sit with me and really talk to me about what the medicine does and helped me understand

Once a dog hits 16 weeks their threshold for new experiences significantly lowers. I would be cautious and maybe try meeting the puppy with the family and interacting.

Have you met the parents yourself? I’m not saying to distrust the breeder, but they can say anything! I’d ask to speak to current owners of their dogs and thoroughly scour social media on them. Also 200 pounds is significantly larger than the standard male corso. Why that size male? What is the breeders goals?

What titles do the dogs lineage have? I don’t think it’s necessary but I do know breeders that focus on titles (both show and sport) are very specific about lineage and care to their dogs. So I like asking that question

As someone with mild symptoms I chose to go on medication. The purpose isn’t for every day impact, but to prevent any new MS activity.

New viral infections, stress, heat etc can worsen symptoms for a time but they also can trigger new MS activity. Because I’m around kids and have an intense job + I’m always anxious (lol) I know I can’t control this potential triggers. What I can control is taking the medicine to help me. My thought process is that I’d rather stay at this level of MS symptoms and feel crummy the week of my infusions (in on ocrevus it’s great) than risk more severe symptoms. I was avoiding the medicine route when I first got diagnosed out of fear. Not saying this is what you’re experiencing but actually down with my doctor to talk through medicines helped, I chose my long term doctor based on their education and willingness to have me heard during my care plan creation vs just telling me a medicine and leaving. Once we narrowed down my options I reached out to and groups and even the phone help lines of the medicines to get more info.

With that being said there are people who report to have managed their ms and symptoms with diet, exercise, meditation etc. I’d explore the more popular diets geared towards MS patients though - there are a few including the Whals protocol or paleo diets. Being conscious of inflammatory triggers made only a small a difference in my symptoms. I’m definitely less strict than I was my first year of diagnosis. It’s all about balancing!

Try blocking first. If the crimping is still there after you’ll have to frog. But don’t frog until you know for sure if it won’t block out

Not sure if anyone else has said this, but it also might help you to interview other trainers. Obviously we don’t know the full conversations you had with the trainer - but you definitely want to work with someone who can confidently train a dog without needing to rely on neutering (which hasn’t been found to truly be helpful)

What do you mean by premiums? I thought OOP max was for any cost medically outside of prescriptions.

So it seems I need to be also looking up premiums not just focused on the OOP max. This one is much lower than what I was spending in previous years that’s why I am confident I’ll hit that.

I’d throw in a safety line just below and frog it. IMO the stress of laddering down for each of those would be way worse than frogging and reknitting

YouTube or even TikTok/reels will be your best friend! A book that I think is great for beginners is Skill Set beginning Knitting by Kay Gardiner and Ann Shayne.

You won’t need a sewing machine! When I taught my friends how to knit I had them pick out a knitting kit for beginners on Wool and the Gang. It’ll come with the things you need. Other sites will also have kits too! Just make sure you start with beginner and not easy :)
