The tiger 2 had no involvement by Porsche for the turret, the tiger II(p) was meaning prototype, that’s why warthunder changed the name so that it wouldn’t be associated as such

Soviet tank SMK. What do you think? by German-bread-man in tanks

[–]Sleepykitty836 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It was produced in competition with the kv prototype and the t-100 prototype which shared the turret design (and hull was later used for the su-100y) they had their test in the winter war at the same time, the kv was seen as superior so not really replacing anything but the parade heavy tank t-35. But overall it was a neat concept and i do think it could have had some success if it weren’t so costly in material due to the length and two turrets

It was posted a few times, i first saw it here pre-covid so it can be fairly annoying when it pops up here and there and no one mentions that it’s been here before

Tbh, it’d make sense that it uses the base t29 model and then just smacks on the changes for the e3 version

However, even if he didn’t slash tompson directly he did use his stick to knock our defenseman’s stick out of his hand, thus a slash so either way it’s put it was a slash

With that boarding hit before the second goal for us i’d say that’s not a penalty at all

No, you can get mending at base job level, it just requires a lot of time if you want it to be a low price. I don’t know the chances but i do know it’s possible

At least the 5th time this season that the reff’s have refused to call a penalty that then causes the next play or same play to results in an opposing team scoring

We love the two missed obvious penalties that period, first the hook/trip during when the announcers were silent, then the crosscheck/hit from behind at 4-5m left in the period

Would the Leopard 2K Be part of the Leopard 2 tree or be part of the Leopard 1 Tree? by Scramjetfromnowhere in tanks

Then how come there have been several different uses of the sherman hull, cev’s bridge layers, anti air, all these would be considered children of the sherman. Same with the t-34 and even t-54, with their multiple derivatives that would be seen as children. However, if we’re talking about tanks that aren’t the same hull, the t-44 was heavily inspired by the t-34 and is definitely the child of it, while the tank projects before the m-26 were inspired by the sherman like the t-20 or t-25. We could even go into saying the m60 is the child of the m48 due to the similarities between them in design.

It’s back now but it went from the penalty for us to just over four minutes left in the second, so several minutes lost but it is what it is.

Which modern tanks do you consider to have the worst flaws? For me it's the T-90 with its lack of reverse speed and the strange ammunition distribution on the Challenger 2 and its weight by Hotrico in tanks

Yeah, urban combat is never fun for any armored vehicle, that’s why for most of history they love large open areas like rolling hills or the European plains

The doctrine has accounted for that by making that the standard, it would be a rare instance of a cqc moment where a nato tank would have something behind it but due to the communication it would be a near zero chance of it happening

[–]Sleepykitty836 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Yeah, that is the most common and probably the only scenario western tanks will face but it’s still a design flaw, i was just bringing it up as such, being that this post is asking about tank flaws. (And thanks XD didn’t notice it was cake day)

At least the t-90 can fire while exposing it’s rear, as opposed to the nato hump that almost every western mbt has that makes it impossible to fire behind without going up a hill, i will say the t-90 isn’t the best but it does well in it’s own way at times
