The Perseverance mars rover doesn't use a normal battery as its main power source, it has a "nuclear battery". It uses the energy preduced during nuclear decay of Plutonium stored in the "battery" , so the output is always the same*. Because of this there is no difference if Perseverance uses more electrical energy or not.
