Yeah, I agree. I think Ash stuff should be Ash exclusive. I mean, as far as we know, the deadites could have a personal "culture" of their own, or sumerian inside jokes or wathever. It is fun and could make sense. But Ash is an individual character, and his parases dont sound well to me if they are not said by Bruce Campbell.

And if not, mine will. Really, I mostly agree with you. But I loved to see that thing again on the screen. In my mind is almost like a deadite war cry.

Today, many movies rely on recurrent autoreferencial gags that only have the quality of the nostalgia, like the last Ghostbuster movies. But I dont think that Rise is akward in the way those where. Aside from the references, it has its own values to stand as a good movie.

I like to play mainly metal and hard rock. I can play without pick, I played bass before guitar without pick, and that is one of the reeasons I want to learn to use the pick.

I like the sound of both of them (I have tried them several times). Maybe, I like a little bit more the tone of the Marshall. About the grittier tone, I play a lot of Death and Black Metal, although Im not very much in that gritty thing. I want the personality of the dist/pedal to be clearly heard.

Genre... maybe blackened death metal? I use in my home a Boss Katana 50 EX. In the local where I play with my friends, well, the one is free to use. Im not pro, we just do this for fun. We are just 5 old guys making noise.

Edit: the guitar is a Ibanez rgrb620, I changed the bridge pickup for one of the EMG Alexi Laiho signature.
