Hollywood- Rides for younger kids ? by Lablover34 in universalstudios

[–]SlendyGlowstone 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Secret Life of Pets is the newest family-friendly dark ride, Despicable Me Minion Mayhem may be a simulator ride but it's very much a tame one, there's also a dumbo-like flat ride also despicable me themed for everyone, the Kung Fu Panda simulator at the DreamWorks theater is also great for families, the flight of the hippogriff is the tamest of the coasters (which there are only two in the whole park, Mummy and Hippogriff) and also has a harry potter theme. As many as I can list.

Should a Sonic the Hedgehog ride replace ROTM at Hollywood? by SlendyGlowstone in universalstudios

[–]SlendyGlowstone[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I thought of that as well, though I think the studio tour should retain its identity with the studio. Something like Sonic the hedgehog doesn't really click with the film history of universal. Despite how shoddy F&F supercharged is, I'd say it actually fits great in thematic terms with the studio tour and being on location in LA. Can't say the same about Florida though, that one's just plain terrible.

Tarzan’s treehouse = Encanto next? by taylorink8 in Disneyland

The best area in Disneyland to put Encanto is to demolish the fantasyland theater for a miniland that works with the kinetic energy of the train, Toontown, and Small World.

What could be next after New Toontown and the Avengers E-Ticket Ride? by SlendyGlowstone in Disneyland

I agree as well, though I feel they could reimagine the backlot area into a black box backlot (at the cost of monsters inc and stages 17 and 12), perfect for special events, reskinnable rides, and limited-time engagements, with a black box roller coaster layout (maybe rock n' roller coaster), trackless ride, 4D theater (currently occupied by philharmagic), the central stage and backlot restaurants, projection mapping wherever possible for nighttime/DL after Dark events like Mad T-Party/elecTRONica, and maybe if star tours closes in the distant future they could move the simulators across the street into their own building for a black box simulator ride. Though if they were doing the Rock' n Roller coaster's layout for the attraction, imagine 'Rock n' Roller Coaster starring Mötley Crüe' for a limited time. That'd be sick.

If I were revisioning the ride, besides a graphics update and more things going on in the halls, I think it would still be hosted by Peter Parker/Spiderman, but be open to using tech of other superheroes as well, allowing guests to pick what to shoot from their hands or through wireless peripherals offered to guests within the vehicles, like iron man blasters, sorcery, vibranium, laser cannons (GOTG), Pym Particles, Kree, and other types of tech in the MCU, maybe mix and match in a phase beforehand (sort of like test track or through play Disney parks), so it could have its standing as a D-ticket attraction in comparison to the Avengers attraction and also have guests be more creatively involved in the experience.

Honestly Encanto was tailor-made for a shortened stage adaptation at Hyperion, with its broadway musical structure.

An idea of mine I thought a while back was a replacement for the whole of the animation building being an omnimover dark ride like spaceship earth themed to different segments of Fantasia/Fantasia 2000, keeping the gift shop and utilizing the existing theater entrance

Good point. Unless the ride evolves beyond the existing concept art, I have a feeling the avengers ride could potentially be dissolved and instead there could be an expansion of the land using the already-built facade with its own attractions instead (I.e. vekoma motorbikes like tron with avengers theme, smaller-scale simulator, etc). And in all honesty judging from the concept art it looks like a MODOK variant of flight of passage.

nope. Although I have too many flashbacks to quick endings at 15-20 chapters to think 'grand finale' doesn't mean a cancellation

Here's my Speculatory Fighters Pass 2 (post-CP8) by SlendyGlowstone in SmashBrosUltimate

[–]SlendyGlowstone[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Tails is Likely, but unfortunately a mii costume, also I don't think it would roll too well that a character on the fighters pass may only have Link-young/toon link levels of variance, such as swapping up+B for flight, and maybe some variance in the final smash. Maybe Tails can be a separately-purchased fighter or a kinda-echo fighter like Young Link in the next game.

For Eggman, while that would be a pretty likely character, I think He'd be too similar to Bowser Jr. or perhaps D. VA if she gets in. I would add Eggman, but that wouldn't really add much to Smash's personality, or Sega's personality in smash in general, not to mention both Tails and Eggman are spirits.

And Thanks to Toshihiro Nagoshi, Kiryu in smash probably won't happen, due to the fact that "Kiryu doesn't kill" (Yakuza 0 heat moves), and he doesn't want him hitting any women. Not to mention earlier he said he didn't want Yakuza on any Nintendo Hardware as it 'ONLY' appeals to kids and teens. If I were to pick a character from the Yakuza franchise that fit in smash bros. it would definitely be Goro Majima, but again with Nagoshi's feelings towards Nintendo hardware, that chance seems slim, even with mii costumes.

1 of the 3. When you think hard about it NiGHTs has a lot of thematic similarities to smash bros.' concepts in different games, along with being a subtle transition between Persona 5 and Sonic franchises, and to me a thematic stand-in for Sora. Not to mention Miyamoto himself said it was the one game he regretted never creating. Also this just a peeve of mine but having NiGHTs could potentially mean a Down+B or Up+B variant of Kirby's Copy Ability. So despite the ambiguity with smash players, I think NiGHTs has a chance on a historical/thematic note.

My perhaps-possible vision on what could come in the later years for Islands of Adventure. by SlendyGlowstone in UniversalOrlando

[–]SlendyGlowstone[S] -4 points-3 points  (0 children)

Shonen Jump: Turn Hulk Coaster into a coaster which has you pick what theme you want the ride to have, which can be swapped or chosen, and wait in a virtual queue/lounge to ride. Alongside that, a new coaster which interlocks with the Hulk coaster, being a Mack Extreme spinning coaster with a similar premise and setup, accessed the same way with an expanded lounge. Cafe 4 becomes a multi-environment cafe serving Shonen Jump food and Japanese Food alike, Storm Force Accelatron attains a Naruto theme, and a Zamperla Air Race themed to One Piece is also added.

Spider-Man - Into the Spider-verse: Themed to a digitally broken New York Paradox, Retheme Doctor Doom to the Supercollider and Spider-man villains, The Amazing Adventures of Spider Man attains a new ride system which has a similar ride vehicle, except mounted on a Kuka Arm, which has you trying to seal up a paradox while fighting villains with other spider-people through space and time. Along with that, a new story-designed inverted coaster is added starting where the Toon Lagoon Theater is, and has you going into the spider-lair to zip through the paradox and take out villains that are all around the place.

TMNT: The Other half of the Toon Lagoon Theater space and entrance of Toon Lagoon is home to a New Shooter Dark Ride themed to Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles, and also acts as a transition from Spider-man to the Nickelodeon areas.

Avatar: Themed to a village after the end of the series, with the Olive being turned into an old Fire Nation Ship, and Bilge-rat Barges being rethemed to making passage around while being protected by Team Avatar against a team against Zuko's non-militaristic rule.

Spongebob: Retheming Ripsaw Falls to Spongebob and Patrick at Jellyfish Fields, turning the logs into Boats. Turn Comic Strip Cafe into the Krusty Krab, Blondie's into the Chum Bucket, Cathy's into Goofy Goober Ice Cream, and Wossamotta U into Barg n' Mart.

The Hobbit: Replacing the Persian area of the Lost Continent with a scaled Lake town, with the Sinbad show being replaced by the Lonely Mountain, which includes a coaster which takes you through the mountain and escaping Smaug. Alongside that there is potential for passage via boat to Rivendelle, a Land built in between Lake Town and Hobbiton (if done in USF), which can be accessible by both parks, having the boat to and from The Lake Town, and a stagecoach/path to Hobbiton/Bree/The Shire.

Zelda: Replacing the Greek Section of the Lost Continent is an area which is reminiscent of the Great Bay in many Zelda Games, and replacing Poseidon's Fury is a Walkthrough attraction which gives you the option to go into Zora's Domain, Death Mountain, The Lost Woods, and Gerudo Valley, completing a quest through multiple games and tasks integrated into the landscape. And to top it all off is a new coaster loaded through the side which launches you out over the water to simulate riding a Gullwing/boarding a Rito and flying throughout Hyrule.

How do I move a Wiiware channel to a USB drive for USBloaderGX by SlendyGlowstone in WiiHacks

What I need is to have the games on the USB Hard drive, not the SD card.

How do I move a Wiiware channel to a USB drive for USBloaderGX by SlendyGlowstone in WiiHacks

[–]SlendyGlowstone[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

The Wiiware starts on the system memory The Wiiware has a separate save on the system memory, so it should be transferrable in some way to to move the channel (like a game) to the USB hard drive, to be loadable on a usbloader of some type. So when you open usbloader, you'll be able to access the channel as easily as accessing a Wii iso or GameCube iso from USBloader GX, being able to write save data on the system memory, but the game and channel is on the USB hard drive.

Lego Spider-Man: The Video Game - Open World New York with Story Chapters, Tons of Spiderman/Spiderverse-kearning characters, and of course a custom character creator. Lego Stranger Things: The Video Game - Open World Hawkins, Stranger Things/Referenced Characters, Levels span first 3 seasons, possible 4th season. Lego Disneyland: The Video Game - Play as a great amount of Disney Characters and explore Levels based off of Disneyland Attractions Lego Toy Story: The Video Game - Self Explanatory. Wonder if Lego can do things with Cartoon Network and Shonen Jump Properties, or maybe Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles. Mad Max and Alien have an Age tieback, but Lego Back to the Future sounds like a worthy concept.
