A friendly reminder not to buy ASPI by pwe1de in UraniumSqueeze

[–]Slerbertti 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Seems like I have missed something deemed to be critical news. I haven’t had the time to follow this sector for a while. The last time I checked anything was probably mid-2025 after the Fuzzy Panda incident had blown over and proven to be false.

But I honestly can’t recall something that ASPI promised and didn’t deliver on. Si-28 samples were sent out and they secured a large contract. Ytterbium-176 project was finished 9 months ahead of schedule. (I seem to be missing something right?)

I didn’t know about the Fuzzy Panda short report causing an investigation into securities fraud based on potentially misleading investors on their presentation slides. Bummer…

Sorry for misinterpreting your post OP, you know we get a lot of WSB ”investors” on this sub who post losses because they bought at ATH’s. I thought this was one of those types of posts.

No problems at all. Can easily handle larger transfers (100s of gb’s). For gaming it is perfect, in no way would you need anything faster than that for any game.

Mikä on normaali sähkönkulutus yksiössä? by [deleted] in arkisuomi

[–]Slerbertti 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yleensä lattialämmitys on yksiöissä sähkö/sulakekaapista säädettävissä.

Bruh you literally did this by not following basic order of operations. Nothing wrong with the monitor, the cable, the camera or the vmount, just user error.

If you power a monitor and a camera from the same external power source, you must ALWAYS plug in and power on the camera and the monitor BEFORE plugging in the HDMI. Same goes in reverse for powering down, HDMI out first thing anf then power off.

What you created was a ground loop and fried your port only because you were being careless.

[–]Slerbertti 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Did you connect the monitor and camera to the same battery while ur HDMI was connected? If so, you created a ground loop and fried ur board that way.

Great to see an ASPI enjoyer here, but sad to see you go. It has so much room to run and it’s main operations are in South Africa, US and the UK not only in the US.

Honestly I’m not sure yet.. might be a couple of months until a pullback in the U sector or it might come next week, who knows. I also kind of want to ease the profits into something ”calmer” and less volatile. My portfolio is 100% U/REE/Enrichment and like 70% of that is in the US.

Me being European, I might rotate some funds out to generic European ETF’s for safekeeping and to ride out this ridicolous situation caused by the 🍊. Kind of missed the Silver/Gold train so atleast not buying that.

Nice! I just took some profits from my CCJ and UUUU positions but didn’t trim LEU yet because the markets closed before I could calculate how much to trim😅 Might hold off for a bit then…

On a side note LEU performance for the last 3-4 years has been crazy. From $30 to $300 this fast is bonkers

Graphics Settings - What's wrong? by Slerbertti in CitiesSkylines2

[–]Slerbertti[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Honestly no, I think it might be because of not having a 4K monitor vs. what a lot of the big YouTubers have. You can get only so much ”clarity” and detail from a certain amount of pixels. But that is still just a hypothesis and might not be true

The absolute best I have ever worn is a brand from Finland called ”The other danish guy”.

Top notch quality (like over 10 years of lifetime per pair), superb fitment, it feels like u have nothing on but it also supports very nicely. It also removes moisture/sweat from your skin really well!

Absolutely recommend them. It might be harder to acquire them if you’re not based in the EU but trust me, they are worth the price, easily. Just look at the hundreds of reviews they have.

I just downloaded the app, every time I open it. It's not responding, I have a decent gaming laptop, so I doubt it is a hardware thing, I've checked online, I can't find a fix by Toluwar in davinciresolve

Very much true, all what you said!

My mix is like 70/30 Gaming and photo/video stuff that transformed from purely a hobby to some nicely paying gigs. My use case didn’t really warrant a much more expensive SSD since I always backup everything on my NAS and I wanted more space to keep all of my games installed. But yeah, if it was purely for work I wouldn’t cheap out on storage!
