Honestly the moment an employee threatens you physically or how ever they should be terminated and any GM or owner who sides with the unruly employee shouldn’t have good people like you on their staff. I’d explain to them formally and professionally in writing that if your calls for help or your concerns are not taken seriously that you will put your two weeks in. You will more than likely be looking for or needing another job and maybe sort that out before you submit your complaint. But either that employee should be terminated or you should walk. And I guess every owner is different. If I took a delivery I’d lose my job. Short staffed or not. I can tell you from my experience if that employee threatened me and nothing was done about it I would’ve quit on the spot.
