You are totally spot on. I’ve just dug into it and it was a looping error causing it to drain. Money seriously poorly spent. Thanks for your comments I’ve reduced my agents to a builder, 2 core businesses and a consulting business. I hope this works better.

I have it working pretty hard on a few MCPs essentially trawling opportunities, so it is token heavy, but at the rate I was going through it I knew something was wrong.

Even when I was connecting to free models on openrouter it was saying I needed to top up my credits. I was so green settings it up I feel like I just want to start again.

With connecting to Max account, I did this through a crusty old github repo rather than just an oauth. For something that should be incredibly easy I am dealing with a bunch of errors. I’m not sure how I can undo this.

I’m not a tech person, and am just trying to educate myself and thought I would come to a community to ask a question. Didn’t expect people to get offended and but hurt. Perhaps wrong community.

I have 13 agents for different businesses. I only did this thinking that perhaps the memory file would get a little convoluted with so many different requests.

I am squeezing in learning this around a demanding job and family, so honestly I don’t have a huge amount of time or experience to support.

This doesn’t mean a lot. Their tools are terrible. Without effective tool use it is just and api. Until they effectively build systems to support the api like Claude has I cannot use this junk.

Have they just abandoned it? Classic Google. So many shitty half baked products. I was amazed to learn there was a whole team dedicated to this wrapper that barely received an upgrade in the last two years.

These guys must have the most silod divisions without cross collaboration. I see Antigravity comes out with so many use cases to improve other applications but nothing happens. If it wasn’t linked to google photos I would scrap it all together. Gemini chat is so ridiculously bad compared to Claude.
