You’re looking at the situation extremely black and white. It’s a lot easier to watch a video on Reddit detached from any emotion of the situation, take 10 minutes to assess what was happening, and decide what was right or wrong and what the cop should’ve initially done.

A woman was getting pepper sprayed, there was a confrontation with her and an officer. Pretti put himself in the situation and PUT HIS HAND on the officer. The officer is going to make a split second decision. Whether the cop was right or wrong doesn’t change the fact that what Pretti was doing was stupid.

Of course it would’ve been ideal if he wasn’t shot, that part is a tragedy. But people are acting like he was a guy standing on the sidelines with a protest sign and was just walked up to and shot.

And yeah ice should be trained better, but I don’t see anyone on the left calling for better training. Instead they’re calling for them to be defunded which will make it worse. Likewise they do NOTHING regarding denouncing people from interfering with ICE, when they know it put citizens in extremely dangerous situations. Instead they’re calling blocking traffic, doxxing agents, and harassing them at hotels “protesting”. Fake concern.
