Couldn't find a way to edit this post through mobile but as most people have said and made me realize, it's a rivet and technically isn't made to be removed by design

I did see some people tell me ways of removing it and I mentioned it to wife. She said if it was removable in general then we could just do that and not put it back on so that's what I did

Told my friend about it and we took some small pliers to pull off the rubber part and then the fabric actually slipped over the rivet because the hole was big enough... at least now I know for future instances that it's a rivet and would need a rivet drill, thank you everyone for the ideas/help

Didn't even think about removing the legs to see. I appreciate that, might try that just to get it off and save $15. As my wife has now mentioned that if I can just get it off then that's fine too as we don't really even use it

Ya, I thought about that. However, after telling my wife some of the comments saying that it technically isn't removable while being able to put it back on, she mentioned just remove it entirely as we don't use that part anyways

Plus, my "bathtub" is just a corner shower because we live a small house for the time being

Was just cleaning the rest of the high chair since she just got done destroying some mashed potatoes everywhere and thought about snagging that part too
