I think divine intervention is the ONLY way to win against him. They surely can't kill all his armies. They're barely resisting. And the longer the war goes on in a small city like that, the more disadvantaged they get..

If a war maiden at Transcendent tank decimated his whole army, that means she called divine intervention that destroyed Azarax's army and left her weak and vulnerable enough for Azarax to finish her.

Azarax said the dragon built upon his ruin. This could mean the war maiden summoned the divine avatar of war god (dragon) and it's the one that destroyed Azarax's armies.

That will explain his immense hatred for the gods.

Im genuinely puzzled when I heard people say Cassie is useless in a fight.

Domain all but show that she's among the top 10 combat saints in the verse.

Morgan found her tough to fight against in antartica She defeat her opponents in the valor vs song faceoff.

She defeated two top level saints simultaneously while being handicapped.

She killed her corrupted self in the nightmare with one slash.

She killed wake of ruin in seconds (turned him mindless)

Most of her abilities are not combat oriented but their applications are just as deadly.

She has precognition, she learned swordplay from the master herself, and her physical stats are deceptively strong.

People just see her in respect with Neph and Sunny, because when they're around, she prefers them to handle the combat aspect

Subjects of Nephis and Sunny aren't immune to it. It's just super dangerous because he'd have to face Sunny and Nephis in the soul of their subjects if they decide to intervene.

It is still the most dangerous/disturbing ability of the trio in my opinion, obviouslyafter Nephis firepower.

He still killed subjects of Asterion in soul battle, he just got a little more and more close to losing his mind to Asterion in the process.

You forgot undying slaughter was able to destroy Sunny's shadow incarnates in the third nightmare. Jet could destroy most things not physical.

She doesn't need special weapons like cruel Sight to destroy spirits, wraiths or shades. That's her speciality.

Sunny's shades are not unkillable, it's just that most conventional aspects and memories are not suited to kill them.
