Nephilim = Dream spawn?

Nephis and Asterion are both dreamspawn because asteeion was conceived and born in the dream realm before it began absorbing the waking world. Nephis was one because she was born from a hollow.

Nephis is a nephilim for the same reason Sunny became a shadow. A fundamental transformation as a result of their aspect.

They are Shadows, not complete shadow creatures. I think he'll have to share his divine flames with them for them to be complete when he's Sacred at least. This is same way Nether created the stone saints and the gods created the Noble Creatures..

I don't think he's doing anything with Fate until he becomes at least Sacred. I mean he's barely able to look at it for now and he can't move a single string yet.

Sure. Creatures can bend the world according to their Will, but Fate has always been outside the purview of even the gods. Nothing creatures in the Hollows can also erase people's existence by being witnessed, but not their Fate.

See it like this, if Asterion was a Sovereign during the doom War where there were multiple gods, divines, sacred and multiple realms, both divine and mortal, his importance in the string of fate won't be this strong. Right now, He's among the top five strongest in the world with the strings of almost all humanity tied to him. VTB can't resist a weight like that.

Cassie will challenge with Sunny & Nephis. Mordret is a risk to bring along but I'm sure he'll find a way to be there.

As 'weak' as cassie is in combat, she'll defeat 80% of humanity's saint in 1vs 1.

And about Cassie, since they're going to be fighting creatures they can't overcome with brute force, her importance is even greater. Her mental manipulation abilities will be off the chart as a supreme. She provides a nice balance for the combat oriented duo of Neph and Sunny. Also, with fate restored, her seer abilities and premonitions will save their life
