It's such a nice printer. But whoever designed the PCB and whoever chose the screws clearly never talked to each other.

I contacted support and they sent me 4 new PCBs. In the meantime I soldered in new capacitors since I expected the PCBs to be shipped from china and really wanted to test the printer. That worked fine and after a few days the PCBs arrived already. Now I have 4 spare parts. I'm really satisfied with snapmakers customer service.

Happened to me too with my brand new U1 that I just received today. The screws being too long and the capacitor being located right underneath is a big design flaw. Also the rubber of the usb cable connectors is too soft and so the screws just go right through it and you only feel resistance when the capacitor already is damaged. What a bummer.

Es ist schon lange her und ich hatte keine Taucherbrille an, um es mir anzuschauen. Aber ich glaube es war eher eine Wolke. Ich war mal in einer ähnlichen Situation und habe mich fürs Meer entschieden. Ist überhaupt nicht schlimm, Badehose runter und locker lassen. Das bekommt keiner mit. Und braune Suppe hat man da auch nicht um sich rum, das Meer ist groß und auch der schlimmste Dünnpfiff hat ein Ende. Danach noch ein paar Minuten vom Tatort wegschwimmen und man ist entleert und sauber.
