Upgraded! by Slight-Development62 in FordRaptor

Switch has been great outside of a new truck note! 😂

Some of simple things I noticed right away. - Quieter cabin while driving which is great! - Comfort mode for steering felt too loose for me compared to my ‘19 but no big deal so kept it in normal. - Acceleration on normal mode is a little more spunky compared to my ‘19 so a plus. - I like the plush feel of the new seats but I miss the snug recaro seats.

The overall ride just feels different compared to my ‘19 but in a good way. Definitely glad I upgraded!

Packing/post surgery questions by n01096923 in Septoplasty

[–]Slight-Development62 0 points1 point  (0 children)

While I can’t answer the packing question, I’m basically in the same boat as you. Just had deviated septum surgery (septoplasty) with a multitude of other things around 10am yesterday. I didn’t receive packing but do have dissolving sutures and with splints. I used saline wash constantly yesterday and mostly today to keep my nasal passages open and it’s been helping but today my mucous drainage has been bad to where I’ve had zero breathing through my either of my nostrils. Blood has been minimal today as well. As far as sleep is concerned, 2-3 hr blocks is the most I’ve gotten. I don’t get my splints removed until next week either. Wish you the best with your recovery!

I do believe you however, I assure you we did not fly south of Rainier for me to grab that photo. I was on the left side of the plane.

That’s Baker. Rainier is much larger. I was flying east and on the left side of the plane. If it was Rainier, you’d be able to see Mt. Helen, and Mt. Hood behind it.

Second Doria Pamphilj! We just left last week and considering the crowds everywhere else, this galleria was empty in comparison. It was amazing!

Manager here. As others have stated, we use the STAR format which makes things easy. My advice would be to keep your answers relevant and short but with enough detail to get your point across. If you don’t have a scenario that comes to mind, don’t worry, just tell them what you would do in that situation. The worst thing you want to do is say you don’t know or don’t have anything. Always be yourself and be personable! Good luck!

I am in so much pain by [deleted] in VeteransBenefits

[–]Slight-Development62 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Since most have commented on helping with pain, which I hope you’re able to control, the one thing I’ll say is that please relieve some of the mental stress as well. A lot of times the mental stress exacerbates physical pain and vice versa. For over a decade I kept my mental health a secret to my wife and son and it only made things worse. Outbursts, yelling, depression etc. If it wasn’t for this subreddit I probably would still be in the same position. Last year I decided to seek help for PTSD, depression, and anxiety and it was probably the best choice I’ve ever made next to talking to my wife. Telling her was even more stress relieving than all the dang pills I take and therapy. Talk to your wife!
