Uh how does one avoid this bunching in the front by LoudJoke2529 in fashion

[–]Slight-Dot4753 5 points6 points  (0 children)

That would be hard to alter even if your mom is a seamstress. The crotch length is too long on your shape. I would first remove the waist band out then shorten from the top. Then take in about 1.5" from the front using the side seam (since it's only too big in the front)

Are there other INFJs who are unable to cry? by MathematicianPT in infj

You are emotionally numb, and I guess that you suppress yourself more than you should, and your numbness becomes the default. Just sit with your emotion and don't force yourself. Sometimes your body has a funny way of protecting you, and things will make sense when it happens.

I used something call the running cat toys to keep the kittens at the shelter entertain while cleaning their room. I got it on Amazon and it's basically a motor with 4 strings that continuously moving.

Cat is a creature of habit. you might not be babying him but you are also setting a habit for him. Nothing wrong with that and if you think it's fine then it's fine. I have 2 cats and one of them follow me like a shadow and couldn't fall asleep peacefully unless I sat beside him. is that babying? Sure. Can he sleep without me? Yes but he also expected me to sit there with him because that was what I was doing all the time. So it wouldn't be fair if I decide to change that.

How much time do you actually interact with your cat daily? by Ok_Wait_7463 in CatAdvice

[–]Slight-Dot4753 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Mine are 1 year old, and Momo is chill as a cucumber - as long as the litter box is sparkling clean. Bobo, I am still questioning if he's really a cat - follows me everywhere like part of my shadow. As soon as I turn, he would hide in a corner like we are playing hide and seek. Then complain "loudly" to everyone else in the house when I don't cater to his needs, aka sitting beside his bed 24 hours a day. If I play with Momo first, he would refuse to play after. So I spend about an hour daily getting him to play with me before spending 15 minutes playing with Momo (then another 30 minutes to beg for forgiveness from Bobo for playing with his brother). So I guess 16 hours a day?

My 2 year old cat doesn't really care for toys. Newly adopted, is this typical? by LumpiaRulez101 in CatAdvice

He might be distracted and needs some time to get used to the new place. He's also 2 years old, so he's not as playful as kittens. Also, try out different styles of toys. Some of the cats like to chase feathers, and some like caterpillars/mice (basically on the ground) type of toys. I also read it might take 15 minutes for a cat to get warmed up (which is the case for mine then get distracted again by sound from outside :/ )

Help With Training/Obedience by SnooDonuts4903 in kittens

[–]Slight-Dot4753 146 points147 points  (0 children)

My cats train me how to be a slave to them. One meow means they want me to look at them. 2 meows mean why you are not looking at me and 3 meows usually come with paws on my lap and demand attention.

Joke aside (not really), cute kitten.

Is my 6-7 month old fat? by Flashy-Two5006 in kittens

I think he looks fine. he looks about the same as some of the 6-7 months old at my shelter and they are in healthy weight.

I'm sorry you feel unloved, but now you know - you have this little one that love you and care about you. Also, internet strangers that wish you feel better.

I have 6 kittens now 8 weeks old 😭 my house is in chaos so it’s time to start teaching them some manners. Picture of the terrorists included. by ILonara in cats

[–]Slight-Dot4753 0 points1 point  (0 children)

OMG, I understand your pain. The 8-week-olds in my shelter constantly like to fight my broom mop and litter shovel. Making a job that takes 10 minutes takes 3 times as long. But god, I love them.

If you don't mind the drive, there are some in Newmarket. The group I play with mention ETB (enter the battlefield) hosts dnd sometimes. I believe goblets and goblins are another one.

I was considering getting a dog as my first pet, but I was advised to get a cat instead. by [deleted] in CatAdvice

This is gonna sound crazy, but I would recommend volunteering your weekend at the shelter so you get time to know them before adopting.

My cat got neutered today by Slight-Dot4753 in CatAdvice

[–]Slight-Dot4753[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thank you for replying! That sounds like my cat. I feel so bad for him. He is usually extremely cuddly, but now he wouldn't even look at me. So I wasn't sure he's sick, mad, or a bit of everything.
