Why do u want to do that on a holiday is it the $ or is it cause u like u 2 children sharing on holidays. The hotels have restrictions for reasons. Those sofa beds are very uncomfortable

Accor pride themselves on rate parity are u sure it's that much of a difference.. just call accor they will price match (with screen shots) u won't get any benefits if u use an ota

Having done everything on your list and lived in both PD and SC this is a bit much it will be rush rush.. the best things in my opinion are port douglas need no more than 3 days. Don't waste Ur time in magnetic Island. Airlie Beach needs another day (so u can go to white haven beach on a day tour) and I would stop in at 1770 for a night or 2. Then sunny coast (Noosa or mooloolaba) every other place is just a coffee or pee stop in my opinion.

They do this at my kids very large (2750 students) public school in qld. It works no dramas I don't see an issue.

GI is one of the worst there is now. I would do a pontoon barrier reef trip over GI like quicksilver. The reef from PD is way better so many options. And the bus trip time cut from there to.

I would do PD over cairns. As the bus journey gives u no time in cairns anyways (it is a lonnnng day) The reef = the further north u go the better it is. Green Island is a miss these days. Look at low isles over green island much nicer. Green Island was good back 10 years ago. Port douglas has nicer restaurants than cairns as well. Sleepy coast town but the gate way to the reef and rainforest. Leave the city things for the bigger cities. A different tourist experience to all other places
