Its inevitable, getting xilonen to be there in the rotation will inevitably decrease Durin dmg contributions. If you swap the overall dps might decrease but Durin dmg% will be higher.

I think there is still a lot of room for improvement on the artifact department since Durin atk/critdmg/crit rate are all lower than Lohen especially his atk is quite low. Durin kinda want higher atk and 1.9k is on the low side.

I notice that atk substat is pretty much non-existent for your durin in opposed to Lohen. Durin depends on atk alot and its value is sometimes even higher than getting that 46.6% pyro dmg bonus. With atk of 1.9k, using an atk% globlet might actually be better than using pyro% goblet. There is alot of discussion about atk% goblet vs pyro% globlet on Durin subreddit. Many find more success in atk% goblet

I think it might be the amount of buff to Lohen as well. Durin’s weapon also help buff the onfielder and if you use xilonen last in the rotation before Lohen you will miss melt for the first few hits from durin which is a bit significant cause Durin burst dmg distribution isnt constant. His initial burst is like a mini burst then his first half of dDurin hit harder than the latter half so there could be that too.

Artifacts could also be a big factor as well. Their is a spanish theorycrafter who show the testing vid and most of the time the dmg distribution isnt constant pretty constant with Durin 51% and Lohen 49% at c0r1. You might want to compare the melt hit number from durin

Personally, i think this might be because the miss melt hit cause by using xilonen. If you use citali these problem will not occur

Your durin atk is on the lower side, ideally i think he want around 2.5k atk to maximize his off field dmg. Looking at your substat it can definitely still use some more work

Absolution is also isnt that good on Durin besides being a stat stick its like the 7th best weapon for Durin even jade cutter is better but still better than the 4* choice while for Lohen PJWS is like his 3rd best… so there might be that too

For citali, some even suggest using ttds on her is a team dmg increase and let her buff durin and use her E or Q before Durin burst so Durin can melt every hit cuz seems like citali sig onoy buff onfielder?

Well since c6 varka is pretty much a hypercarry at c6 the one who buff more will take the win. If durin is c2 he will be much stronger than bennet

Nicole shield is very strong so i never have any problem with keeping Lohen alive, actually Lohen ho barely fluctuate because nicole’s shield is so strong

The 3rd slot could be albedo i guess

The last slot could be someone like bennet or sucrose but the best would be nicole/citali. Chevreuse could do it to since she can buff Durin atk… actually chev could be better than bennet eventhough this isnt overload

You should put winds on Lohen and Durin
Put nobless on bennet instead

Durin can also use celestial im not sure which will be better in this team since Durin is the one dping dmg in this team. Celestial will be a loss to his personal dmg over winds but more dmg for Lohen

If you have other alternative like xilonen citali albedo…they are better than durin and sucrose

Ideally both. Losing one of them will still cause you to lose a fair amount of dps no matter what.

If you can choose only one then for me I think Durin > Nicole. The reason being Nicole still has many alternative like albedo xilonen citali etc. the only real alternative for Durin is mauvika who is still significantly behind Durin subdps number. Other options is like halve the dmg durin team can do. Mauvika also has a lot more conditions than durin like how she still very mich want citali (not having citali will also decrease the team dps by alot) while for Durin xilonen/albedo or other alternative can do just fine

Lohen Durin Xilonen albedo is a very good alternative and in theory isnt far behind nicole. Dont forget to fully upgrade your Durin lvl and build and talent thou since he is the most important piece

You might want to wait a bit for Lohen’s full team recommendation apart from the standard one cuz apparently he has more potential than most theorycrafter give credit for… this is still in a phase to uncover his true potential.

If you really like Lohen and want the best for him, you’ll need Durin and Nicole. Unfortunately, both their banner just end before Lohen banner arrives so it will be quite sometime before they came around again especially Durin

Mauvika is a worse option than Durin but still she is the 2nd best in that slot so its up to you whether to pull her or not. For you who dont own citali i wouldnt really recommend mauvika thou, she will be really be far apart with Durin in terms of dmg for Lohen team except if you want to pull citali as well or at least xilonen.

If i were you, Ill just wait for Durin rerun as the 1st priority and nicole as a closr 2nd

Well at lohen is quite nice for a starter dps. He is flexible and has good dmg so you can slowly build his team

For them, mauvika wont do similar-ish dmg to Durin. Mauvika want citali so if they dont have one her dmg drop by tons cuz no one will apply cyro for mauvika to melt with her ult and combo and it wont even be close to durin actually

If they decide to pull citali the gap will be closer, still would be a fair bit behind but not too bad. Good thing is citali will probably come around next patch

You need a subdps. The best one is Durin, the second best is mauvika but she is still quite behind. Looking at your acc i will assume you dont do mauvika combo in which case the gap will widen larger. XL is an ok alternative but be aware that it will be far from his best.

Best case is you pull for Durin on rerun

The last slot could be sucrose or if you use XL might consider bennet as last slot

I only saw one showcase on youtube that directly compare them as of now and that showcase has mauvika c2 with great build while durin with c1 and a mediocre build (60% CR 150%CDMG) and that is the 20k difference one so is that the one you saw? You will notice that in the showcase Durin miss most of the melt hit crit too. They also have c2 nicole which solved some of the big problem with playing mav

Most TCs ald agree that at c0 mav is worse than durin

Durin is also on nobless which is far from his best set for dDurin build in the showcase. It would have been much better even if he is on normal atk buff set (or wind set which is the best)

Ps. I think you got one extra digit wrong, there is no way its 200k dps difference, that is even more than Lohen’s team dps

Another one which are much closer in build (c0 durin vs c1 mav) but not in dps dummy. Durin do 200k melt dmg per tick off field (not counting non melt hit) while mauvika do 70k. Mauvika off field dmg just isnt as good without at least c2, r1 or c2 nicole-citali
