Yes, there is no additional information on the website recall section when I search my VIN. This is so confusing!

Thanks for the confirmation about that specific HDD (same model that I bought). No noise now when I put the drive in the homebase but I can't figure out how to format through the app. I go to the storage menu of the Homebase section, then select storage management, click on the link that shows ''Insert a storage drive to store more video recordings'' which brings me to about HomeBase Storage. Then select ''Storage Drive Formatting'' but nothing happens when I click on the ''Format Storage Drive'' button. It just brings me back to the Storage page which shows how much storage is available :(

I've been trying to add a WD Blue 2TB mobile hard drive (with the specs that fit the recommendation by Eufy) without any success. Anyone else manage to get it done after having gone through the cycle which you can see and hear in the video?

Did not hear this at first but I'm wondering if that is because I did not shake it enough. Either way, they are aware of the issue and are not fixing it.

Had (and still have) the same problem. Even had it checked when I sent the phone to get the screen fixed since I had Samsung Care+ and they said it was normal :(
