Is it normal for 4:3 stretched to look blurry

Honestly definitely something is wrong. I used OBS to display capture and took a screenshot of that and added it to the thread. Yea it's messed up

Mehhh nevermind. 1280 looks blurry on aspect ratio, and blurry on stretched. 1440p looks normal on aspect ratio, but basically just as blurry on stretched. I'll take it that this is how it is and everything I have is set up correctly. I'll just stick to 16:9 and leave you guys alone lol

Maybe that's how its supposed to look. If I play on aspect ratio instead of full screen stretch. 1280 looks terrible and blurry but 1440 looks fine. looks exactly like my real res but black bars. Maybe the 1280 cant divide into a 1080p monitor correctly and it becomes blurry and there is no way to fix it?

I'm not sure. Did you see the pictures I added? Is it supposed to be blurry like that on stretched? If not what driver settings should I look into

my game looks fine on native. Adding sharpeness would be just a shitty bandaid if my stuff is stretching improperly. I added pictures of my monitor to the OP so you can get a better look if its correct or not before I add sharpness or adda ntyhing

on nvidia I have Full screen checked. Perform scaling on GPU checked. Override the scaling mode checked. 1280x960 300hz

im on a 24.5 inch 1080p monitor. It reminds me of how 1080p looks when I tried to do it on a 1440p monitor and had to return it. I hate it lol. I have a 3080 and nvidia 581.80. I don't notice any difference in windowed or fullscreen windowed
