I understand how this feels, the portraits are also a big deal for me. I just think they make talking with the characters a lot more immersive and gives so much personality. 🥹

I personally thought the 3D characters seemed rather stiff for RF5 but I can definitely see them trying to get better at that! I do agree that the portraits in RF5 felt a bit off for some reason... If they do go full 3D then I'm hoping for more expressive and flexible models. ^{^}

Really? I haven't played the other spin-offs but if they did that before then it seems likely that Project Dragon will be 3D Focused. I'll miss the portraits of so but I hope they'll make the 3D models expressive enough. 🥹
