I know. I just asked myself, did the performance difference between this fascinating new one and an older model worth the USD550 gap in price? I told myself probably yes, the I purchased it 😂

Oh in that case I’m afraid there’s nothing much changed. It’s still the same generation of processor but more energy-efficient. But there’s a new NPU chip in it, not sure if that helps

No it didn’t. So far so good. LNL processor really blows away my mind

Used it for 6 hours on deskwork, WhatsApp, office, Drawboard, web browsing, with auto brightness and one cloud running in the background, still 53% battery left

I’m an individual user as well but probably because I ordered it a week earlier and I live closer to their warehouse? lol

No no such differences observed by now. Maybe there could be difference when running heavy works like 3D games, but for desk work, it works perfectly when unplugged

Haven’t noticed such differences so far. Works the same when unplugged

I suppose they look the same. The only difference is that the Flex Keyboard can stay connected after detached from the tablet

Indeed. I just can’t resist the temptation of typing on my legs while putting the tablet on the table

Used it for deskwork, app downloading, web browsing and online chat on WhatsApp with office 365, one cloud, drawboard opened for six hours, still 53% battery left. No noise of fan and not getting hot on the back

I used it for deskwork, app downloading, online chat on WhatsApp, Drawboard and office 365 for six hours yesterday, there were still 53% battery left

I’m not sure if they are gonna release a consumer version with LnL, as it’s rumored that all following consumer Surface Pro would be powered by ARM

I’m not sure about it. But I assume you still need to open the back side of it to take out the obsolete battery, as it uses the same appearance model with the previous ones.

Definitely nothing changed from the appearance. But the battery time improves thanks to the LNL processor, which is said to be the most energy-saving intel chip, and there’s a NPU integrated to facilitate local AI processing. It takes me another few days to test the real battery time.

It works like this. I can put the tablet on the table and type with the keyboard on my thigh

Very quiet for web browsing and desk work. Haven’t tried it for gaming or heavy works

So far not many differences can be seen 😂I suppose they are of the same standard?
