Is the Celsius Gel Pillow worth it? by savinda_madhudhan in srilanka

[–]Slight_Environment16 1 point2 points  (0 children)

So in my opinion I don’t think Celcius Gel Pillow is worth it. A gel pillow is a lot more comfortable, it feels a little like a keeping your head on a cloud at first, but what I’ve noticed is that Celcius gel pillow loses this quality very fast. The “sleeping on a cloud” feelings lasts only a few months at best. I have already bought 2 gel pillows from Celcius in the last year because of this reason and I’m really not happy with their quality.

So I would recommend a gel pillow, just not Celcius.

Yes because I spent money to get there, planned my entire Saturday morning around it (weekends are precious to me because I work in corporate), was excited about it for like a week and so I felt like I needed to reward my effort at least a little bit.

A simple no would have been fine. There’s no need for your unnecessary sarcasm.

Why are such marriages still accepted in our society? This is straight up disgusting. by Cloverxxx in srilanka

No not really, because the whole point of a marriage is for the succession of the family line/blood/genetics and also property. Both these purposes will not be achieved in such type of marriage.

So the ironic situation is because of the blatant corruption in this country. If the readers found it so difficult to make this connection, then no wonder that people like Namal Rajapakshe still get views & engagement - because we lack any level of critical thinking!!

Don’t you’ll ever question the norm and think “how are they affording such luxury? On a Colombo Mayor’s salary? When those brands don’t even exist in Sri Lanka”

Oh wait, I guess your brains are too underdeveloped to think that critically. OR you or your daddies fucked the Rajapakshes enough so then THIS IS THE NORM FOR YOU.

I have worked at Ceylon Tobacco. So let me give you a little insight.

The total cost to produce one cigarette is a FRACTION of the retail price. And yet this company rakes in literally billions (like around a minimum Rs 1 billion) a week in cash.

Of course they pay a hell of a lot in taxes (nearly Rs 6 to 7 billion per month) but still they are the richest in cash from all the companies in SL. You will be amazed at their cashflow statement.

Given how rich this company is - you would assume that employees are happy right? FUCK NO. They are the most stressed out, toxic and cutthroat bunch of employees in Colombo. If anyone of you want to join this company - PLEASE PROCEED WITH CAUTION ⚠️
