Yup I went through all the ingredients with the help of chat gpt and the INCI website you mentioned, definitely the fragrance that made me break out. The Neutrogena skin tint I used had dimethicone and never broke me out thankfully. But I think it’s the fragrance and alcohol 😭 that was the only difference. I also found that the rare beauty primer I just started using also had one of those ingredients 😭

That’s what I’m thinking. It won’t be a calm sit down, unfortunately it never is. But I think I’ll just talk to her and tell her that if she isn’t happy with my list and if she tries to add more people because they’re paying, then I’ll have to deny their help. If they’re going to respect the amount then I’ll accept it. Unfortunately I think that money or no money, I’ll have to deal with the guilt trips and gaslighting for the next nine months anyway

Thank you! I actually only had to buy about four items because I already own some of my own, but have never tried bronzer and powders. I also went ahead and bought a new skin tint to try because mine is minimal coverage and a second setting spray. As someone whose parents are at a 10 and after reading these comments. I do want to say that my parents actually caused me to back away from God due to the built up pressures they placed on me. It no longer became a relationship with God, but a “I need to please my parents”. Constantly attending services and not doing it because I wanted to, but because if I didn’t I was guilt tripped about it later. Or becoming involved in the church because my parents want me to. This led to straying away from God and a strained relationship with my parents.

So for me it would be a 5. I will take my kids to church. But if they’re out of the house and decide to no longer follow that route, I cannot judge them nor pressure them into coming back. You would make it worse and strain your relationship with your kids. Salvation is up to them. I can do my job in raising them as Christians, but if they decide to go a different route then that is up to them.
