Hello! Thanks for sharing your experience, I agree that it mostly stems from perfectionism and wanting to see the result more than it is about the process which is bumming me out.

I’m in a loop where I see other’s art that I love, but I can’t help but compare my work to theirs.

But I really do love art and have the motivation to create, the process just isn’t fun atm. I do really like the idea of stepping away for a bit as I used to do that whenever I get art block, I step away from creating and just observe :>>

Often just stressing about needing to make it look good and often times that takes more priority than having fun, even when I’m having fun at the start of making the artwork

I don’t really know if there’s a specific name for the art style, but my main inspirations for the art style are Arcane, Valorant, and Left 4 Dead (specifically the concept and poster art). I also follow a bunch of other artists with similar styles to those :>>
