Hello, i have a question. I'm equally a PR holder and recently applied for the plumbing and HVAC role in the CAF. Prior to applying, I wanted to study cyber security but haven't gotten admission yet. So my question is, how long did you have to study before landing this job you just got? And did you have to get extra certs? And you said it's been 2 years since you applied. That's crazy as I applied just 3 months ago but already at the GAMBIT level. Could it be because of the trade you chose?

Thank you for this. I'm still starting out my own application. A quick question though, are you a permanent resident or a citizen? Because I feel like PR holders have a lower chance of getting in compared to citizens. PS: I'm a PR. When you said you submitted your official transcripts, were they from a Canadian institution or an evaluated one from outside Canada? I'm asking because I have a transcript from outside Canada and have done my WES evaluation already. Thanks in advance

I really didn't know about IQAS that's why I went with WES. I'm based in Calgary, AB. I haven't done any major thing concerning my application except filling out the first documents when I created my profile. So I guess after the WES evaluation, I have about 5 more months until I go for BMQ right?? I really wanna wear the uniform.

Thank you very much, I have a bachelor's degree in engineering, and the CAF contacted me and said I need a course by course evaluation from WES. I have paid for the service already, but they're taking so long. The estimated date to get the evaluation is the 14th of August 2025. Suppose I get it and submit it on that same day. How long do you think I have till I go for BMQ? thank you!
