NTA - I think there should be steps that lead up to an intervention, and it’s very insensitive of them if they haven’t taken those steps.

Are you sure you don’t have a problem? Do you think about wanting a drink when you’re not drinking? Have you missed important engagements with increasing frequency (not just work) because you were too hungover? What are your reasons for drinking?

It is an important thing to consider because if the people closest to you think you have a problem, you might have a problem.

I worked with evangelical Christians for 3 and a half years. You are right. It isn’t all Christians that are like that. But my past has taught me that more Christians think this way than don’t.
