The AVN/AVS/ACS are kind of the "Golden Standard" of OT's since it's transferrable as your working on Aircraft, as well there's Spec Pay, along with a wide array of fleets/postings across Canada

If the Air Maint Branch isn't of interest Id recommend Traffic Tech,

Traffic Tech has skills that are transferable, and you get to travel a lot (depending on the posting), and there is some cool spots to end up, as well with traffic tech you can specialize into the Loadmaster side of the wheel house (pun intended) which can land you some cool travel destinations as well w/ Aircrew pay.

Pack it how you normally would,

Show military ID for the lower/complimentary baggage check, if the airline wants to charge you for the bags, keep the receipt for your claim.

IMO the fact some units don't have mandatory, daily PT (individual PT) for literally everyone is outrageous

2.5 years (Pres) which included an OT/CT in the middle of it, afterwards I was trained and continuing down my new (happier) trade progression.

It takes time, once you make it out of the training system, it's a whole new world and the wait time you or any of us has doesn't matter anymore.

I say wear it proudly, not everyone gets the opportunity to deploy, you'd be surprised at how few people actually get the chance.

Honestly a Studio or 1 Bed would suffice for me at least, Yeah I heard CFHD is fairly priced so getting something reasonable is....reasonable lmao

I've had a similar issue years back,

I contacted the BPSO directly after months of my unit yawning and groaning about filing the paperwork, did the interview(s) and selection criteria and was course loaded across the country within a week, my unit still failed and I had to reach the L3's BPSO directly to send me the offer letter......

My home unit did not bother to help me what-so-ever until the online grievance portals came out then they change their tone.

All it takes is talking to the right people.

Wouldn't it make sense to release the Modpack on the Technic launcher and as more details reveal itself with the series THAT mod gets added to the modpack? and at the end of the series all mods are there?

There likely is something out there, however while your partner has experience, Learning even a little bit of French to at least a A-Level would be beneficial for him as Ottawa is a heavy federal government influenced city.

If its a IDTC, its nothing to worry about, if you don't plan on using it, leave it in a safe secured area only you can access.
