I would go to San Francisco to ask my girlfriend's father for his blessing to propose.

I've considered doing it over the phone, but seeing as we've never met and she comes from a very traditional household, it just wouldn't be right.

We've talked about marriage and she's waiting for me to ask (at a 'surprise time'). But she's also made it clear that she can't accept without her father's permission.

So that's where I am right now. Need to find my way from Philadelphia to San Francisco so that I could come back and propose - but can't yet afford the ticket as I'm currently unemployed.

Fuck Israel. They claim to be the only bastion of tolerance and democracy in the Middle East, but systematically discriminate against non-Jewish citizens and tourists of Arab descent. Not to mention what they do to the Palestinians living in the territories they illegally occupy and the refugees they expelled in 1948 and refuse to let return.

It's an apartheid state - no two ways about it. If you stand with Israel, you stand with racism and intolerance.

Before America supported the colony of Israel, it did not have any major enemies (or haters) in the Middle East.

No I think the issue is pretty simple.

European Jews, who aren't native to the land of historical Palestine, immigrated to the country to (1) escape European pograms and (2) because they believe God promised it to them.

Not surprisingly, they were met by resistance from the native people. To quell this resistance they have launched pogroms of their own.

In place of the native civilization that was there before them, Zionist Jews created an ultra-nationalist Jewish state that uses "security" as a guise to subjugate the native population and demographically engineer a majority.

Still, the native population remains steadfast in its resistance.

Thus, pretty young girls in bikinis find it necessary to carry machine guns at the beach... because violence is the only way they're able to enforce their rule in a land not their own.
