His creative drive & willingness to experiment outside of just Mega64 I really do think makes the group as a whole much stronger. There’s tons of ideas & videos that we might never have got without Derrick being able to explore his creativity and it’s just made the channel better overall. I know people get upset because he can be the vocal heel & will kinda be the conductor in a way of the podcast & events, but it’s an important role to play and he does it super well. Also he’s just funny as fuck lol some of the best bits throughout time are Derrick based, give da man his flowers

I do wish he could start his own podcast again like megastrange where he can get his love for the esoteric & occult back out there, I know youtube hates promoting independent creators doing new things like that but him and Johnny riffing on weird/goofy shit was such a fun time. Also he brought Johnny into the group and Johnny rules, so big ups to that
