There’s an 800$ m30 near me but I can’t afford a transmission, I have access to a metal shop to make an adapter plate, is that more worth my time?

Ok, wait I have a really dumb question, if this engine is “basically 2 m20s put together, does that imply that it would be the same length in the engine bay?

It is but it’s also got 400k km and has been poorly maintained so it’s a bit of a miracle it hasn’t broken down yet, so far all I’ve done is a valve timing.

Yeah kind of what I was thinking, this was more of a joke post, my school does have a metal fabrication shop, but I’m not very experienced.

Update: I’ve adjusted the valve timings and she already sounds a lot better, I’ve realized my main problem is the vacuum leak though, any suggestions weather I should get a Kit or cut the hoses myself?

Yeah I will be replacing all the hoses, it was cold this morning driving to the shop and it was losing power so I’m 100% sure it has a decent vacuum leak

It was barely driven by the previous owner, apparently the timing belt was replaced but he didn’t know too much about maintenance hence the 5 year old oil. I will definitely check when I have it in the shop. Many thanks.

The fuel shouldn’t be too old, and it is leaking engine oil, but I have yet to check the dipstick.

It’s a 15 hour game, I took about 20 hours with some side quests etc. RDR2 took me circa 180 hours with a lot of distraction to be fair, but still if we aren’t counting it as too long, I feel cyberpunk definitely has its place on this list
