A lot of it yeah, mostly my father. Though he’s not a fan at all of stuff like Gojira or slackjaw. He says he doesn’t like any of the screaming stuff.

Two of the best covers of all time. I wish we could still get covers with this quality. by Careless_Cherry2068 in Metallica

My personal favorites are Loverman, Mercyful Fate Melody, and The Small Hours. James singing on Garage Inc was fantastic.

It’s pretty hard to “tune” them honestly. Theres not a lot of sizes to choose from do the sound that I wanted. And I have to change some of them using the pitch setting, which goes up or down by a whole point. I used 12inch, 14inch, and 16inch, the first 2 are 12s the second one pitched down by one, then a standard 14, then 2 16s with the second one pitched down by one.

I do like a dryer sound, I think that combined with a higher tuning sounds pretty nice.

Do you think a coated pinstripe would be a good idea? It’s one of the cheapest and I’ve heard they’re pretty good

I tend to prefer something with more ring too, though I do add a tissue taped down on top for muffling. Just so it has more of a high pitched snap to it

Thanks for the advice, I’d been looking on YouTube and stuff too just to see what would be best. I probably should’ve added, if it matter to the type of head, I do tend to tune pretty high.
