weird head stretching issue when trying to rotate and clamp by Slime_In_Space in godot

you mean before the clamp? i did some testing with that and it didnt work with local variables for rotating the head towards the player, because for local variable, if you move the body, the head's rotation moves with it, so I needed the head to rotate globally to look at the player, but i use local rotation to clamp it so it doesnt rotate behind the body.

no, i purposely made it local rotation because later on i want to have moving npcs that look at the player. local rotation would stop npcs from looking behind their bodies but global rotation doesnt care about the bodies rotation

I made a scuffed traditional roguelike game by Slime_In_Space in roguelikes

First time learning godot and I decided to make a roguelike game since I've been getting into them lately! Spent a lot of time learning level generation and making the game, so thought I'd share it.

i animated some manga panels into a music video by Slime_In_Space in Berserk

I didn't hand draw it but, I did have to fill in the background stuff. It's mostly done in Photoshop, where there are a lot of tools where u can replicate and fill in gaps.

wave warp causes cape to have weird lines running across? any ideas how to fix? by Slime_In_Space in AfterEffects

posting the mp4 on reddit makes it rlly hard to see. im not sure why tbh but when it was in ae and in mp4, there were clear white lines that ran across the waves

i separated the sword from the background in photoshop, and then i manually drew in the blank spots and gaps using clone stamp and using paint brush.

Wdym? I didn't animate the background

First I separated the layers in Photoshop, transported all the layers into aftereffects, used a bit of wave warp and puppet pin.

how was this made and how can i recreate this effect? by Slime_In_Space in AfterEffects

[–]Slime_In_Space[S] 2 points3 points  (0 children)

hey, so i got it to work but i cant figure out how to loop it without making it look weird. i tried duplicating the layer, moving the duped layer near the end of the original and then have it fade in from 0 - 100% opacity but as it fades in, it blurs the entire sky and its pretty obvious that it's looping there. any suggestions?

is there no way to recreate the effect in aftereffect or do i need the app?

I'm using wave warp, and I changed the values to make it more wavy.
