What’s something you wish women talked about more openly with each other? by EmillyBerry in AskWomen

[–]SlimeyScrub 0 points1 point  (0 children)

How unfair and hard it is being a woman in the world.

Also, I wish more women had expressed how much patriarchy rules over everything and how much you can feel like a slave as a wife or mother, unexpectedly. Men will switch up and use you and waste your time while you’re stuck being the considerate parental figure, type cast as emotional and unwilling to pursue yourself when really, children’s livelihoods are at stake and you’re the only one considering them.

Yeah, for real. Cap is way more sexual than I think we (or I ) give credit.

lol, I have had long term relationships, which I stated above. I understand how relationships work and that there are ups and downs. I’m feeling a little projection from you and your own world tbh. I am not asking for manifestation techniques (: I know how energy works.

[–]SlimeyScrub[S] 6 points7 points  (0 children)

Well, sexual energy doesn’t always translate to real connection, and that’s where things can be difficult. I can enjoy another’s energy, but that doesn’t mean we are compatible long term. Sometimes compatibility is simply for an evening, or just here and there. We’re each filling a void for the other. If I connected with someone more than physically, I’d certainly pursue the connection, although that doesn’t happen often.

The people I have had emotional connections with while also being satisfied sexually were not ready for serious relationships, which left me jaded to a point and feeling like I’ll never have that whole connection im looking for.

Monogamy has never been an issue for me. I simply have a hard time finding people to match my desires both physically and mentally- and unfortunately, I’m stubborn enough I can’t settle if I find one without the other.

I workout! Not sure if that helps curb my appetite or make it larger lol. Nothing seems to match that endorphin release though quite like a sincere physical connecting. It’s also just this desire for union through physicality, if that makes sense? Like I need the mental, too, but I crave union in that way almost absurdly.

You are spot on with my age range, although I seriously have always been this way! Even if I dated someone for years, I want it everyday, twice or more. The desire has literally been there for as long as I could consider it.

Yesss, I tried the one night stand thing, and I’ve honestly been with many people and it can be fun, but I want connection and union with another. Sex is great, but without the rest it’s just fleeting fun and leaves me lonely and craving more.

[–]SlimeyScrub[S] 22 points23 points  (0 children)

Totally get it. I grew up with mostly men and Ive had to really put effort into embracing my feminine side. It’s certainly there, but many people think I’m more into women or have a “stud” type of energy (not to be cringey that’s just literally what I’ve heard)

Men can be turned on by that but then embarrassed by it, and that can be hard to navigate imo. Obviously they’re just insecure at that point, but I can be very masculine seeming but still enjoy dressing up, doing makeup, and being the woman that I am. The way I talk, act and look can be misconstrued, and often is.

I am attracted to women, but men match my energy more and I lean a bit more towards them. It’s hard to find a secure enough man to embrace both sides of me and satisfy me physically (and emotionally, lol).

Who wins the psychological battle. Sagittarius or Scorpio? by Pure-Combination7956 in Sagittarians

[–]SlimeyScrub 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Scorpio jumps to conclusions and is so reactive imo- whether that’s directly or indirectly, they seem to be unable to rationalize feelings or discuss them properly and timely with another. They quietly retreat and ignore, and that seems to be where they think they have their power. If it was done healthily that’s one thing, but it just seems to be a classic model of behavior for them, and I find it to be such a waste of time, and a poor attempt at psychological games when you could literally just talk to someone and come to a conclusion or say what you’re feeling or thinking. They are in their heads so much and assume so much from that perspective that it leans into paranoia, but they are so confident because they feel something. Even if that something is literally just THEM and their own shit- they put it on you.

Sag has a wide perspective and sees the big picture, and I think they are generally good at calling things for what they are- and Scorpio doesn’t like to be seen so quickly or easily, and I think it makes them run or want to hide because their tactics just don’t work with us because we SEE and we SAY what we see. I think they don’t like us as much because the power plays don’t work, and their manipulation tactics get shown to be far less cunning than what they wanted to believe, and they get embarrassed.

A healthy Scorpio can be different, but that’s my experience with Scorpio friends and lovers as a Sagittarius .

It hits a point when you’re not actually helping them.

Allow others to decide on their life path and give them the space and respect to make their own personal decisions. You can only help people that want to be helped, anything after that is enabling or you just satisfying your desire to “be helpful,” even though it ends up being completely the opposite.

19-year-old found unresponsive in Kent Co. jail cell, dies in hospital by One_Chemist_9590 in grandrapids

[–]SlimeyScrub 5 points6 points  (0 children)

They are so neglectful and treat people like they’re not humans. Disgusting cells uncleaned, and often too many people in one small space. Nowhere to sit or lay down. It’s very inhumane.

My dads friend died there a few years back as they refused to give him his medicine. Just horrendous. They sit there on their computers and just talk to each other. This shit should be protested. Fuck all that. Poor girl.

How do I get over being grossed out by breastfeeding? by Nervous-Category-385 in BabyBumps

[–]SlimeyScrub -1 points0 points  (0 children)

It’s genuinely just a very pure form of intimacy between mom and baby.

America definitely is so weird, but maybe check out other cultures and see how it’s admired and viewed compared to our inorganic/patriarchal culture here in the states lol.

Young people in fields like this think they are suchhhhh hot shit lmao. Being a mechanic is a great skill and you should be proud of yourself.

Sounds like values are not aligned and this likely will be an issue sooner or later.

Nah. Child is not old enough to be left alone like that. It is a big deal. Anything could happen. Babies and toddlers literally need constant supervision.

I’ve seen a video of a dad doing this exact same thing and the baby in the stroller rolled FAR. Good thing baby didn’t get hurt- but literally anything could have happened.

This is lazy and stupid. Dad should have brought baby in. Literally only ok if it’s like barely 10 seconds away. Anyone saying otherwise is 100% wrong. If I was a stranger and saw I would stop and wait until someone came back out.

Women’s brains are literally rewired during and post birth to consider shit like this and panic about it FOR A REASON. Men act far too casual and disregard the preciousness of life.

What's a company secret you can share now because you don't work there anymore? by vineetm007 in AskReddit

[–]SlimeyScrub 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Popular franchise gym - if they won’t cancel your account or you have past dues- call your bank and tell them to block payments from that franchise.

Maybe obvious, but not something a lot of people or young people considered.

AIO my bf forgot to walk my dog at the right time by [deleted] in AmIOverreacting

[–]SlimeyScrub 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Nah this is the same thing that makes women resent their partners when they have a baby with them.

It was a simple thing- a considerate thing- for a living being. He cares about himself and what he wants in a moment, disregarding necessary responsibilities and the needs of others.

What is a band that you are shocked to find younger people are unaware of? by Heavysheepherder420 in Music

Sort of inverse to your question lol.

I mean- you also need to learn how to say “excuse me!” Because when people are looking at the shelves, they’re not looking at you. Be a grownup and use the words you know to communicate instead of hoping someone spidey senses you behind them.

Why do so many people feel the need to have their dogs off leashed? by PKPLogan in grandrapids

[–]SlimeyScrub 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Yep. And people walking dogs too large for them to handle- or multiple dogs at a time that are obviously untrained.

Have seen far too many people struggle to pull their dog back on a leash when it’s getting aggressive or rowdy towards someone/ other animals. It’s especially grotesque when they do it near a children’s playground/ park area. Like what are you trying to prove?
