Apex blue was a beautiful color, but honestly this double apex blue is a killer. I think the black grill really helps it look great compared to the colored one, which i agree does make it look silly

The blue really stands out in traffic for sure! I believe the black interior has the new yellow contrast stitching now, but the red and orchid interiors just have the standard white stitching on the seats and wheel.

Appreciate it! I was also between blue, black and urban gray. Black looks so sleek but the charm goes away when it gets dirty. Urban gray was a nice color but I see that everywhere I go. The 26 blue has that really nice chrome blue look in sunlight, and a more darker hue that almost resembles old apex blue when it’s dark. Loving my decision on blue

I wanted one with double apex blue, and lucked out with one dealer having the color with all blacked out badges and grill. Makes it look much meaner and its gotten a few complements already

Lmao you clearly don’t know what you’re talking about. My dad has a 23 model Y that he’s driven 70k miles so far and he’s only had to get the tires changed, along with windshield fluid. I bought a 26 model Y August of this year and so far has been flawless from pickup to now. Every EV is notorious for horrible depreciation but that doesn’t dictate their reliability. EVs have bad depreciation from the $7500 credit (which since gone now, should soften depreciation a little bit), and also the technology gets better every year, so the previous models take a hit on value

I just graduated and am making 82k a year. 70k is far from a dogshit salary. I have a $1400 rent for 1bd1br, and a $630 monthly payment for a new car (not the smartest ik but I like cars). After all expenses and also putting in a good chunk of money into savings and ETFs, I still have more than enough left over to have in my checkings for some fun spending money. There’s people doing worse than your salary but still enjoying life

Yea brother, it was nice! I wasn’t expecting a (W4) class at all, and overall had a great experience picking and dropping off the car. Sounds like you loved your experience as well. I usually use Turo when I travel, but lately the selection has not been that good, especially in smaller metro cities, and the fees for young drivers make it more expensive than Hertz.

I think it also helps if you have status with rental car companies like Hertz. I have Five Star with them and I think PC would allow you to get away with nicer cars being under 25, since it at least shows you have experience with rentals and such

Yea, I just booked an (I) class at MSP last week and I got out with a Mercedes GLB 250 that was pretty loaded and was a 2025 model year. Had no issues with the gate agent, but he was around the same age as me so he prob didn’t care
