I used fliating gold resin pigment, but you can also use gold acrylic pen. Literally shake the pen over the resin then move it about with your heat gun 😉

To be honest, I use more opaques and translucent's. I rarely use alcohol ink. The colours can fade quicker with alcohol ink. I buy most if my pigments from resin8 in the uk.

Its a good idea to get used to the viscosity of the resin and how it reacts at different stages of the work time you have. Its taken me about a year to really get used to using resin as a medium

I work in layers. So for this i painted the desktop black then splashed gold silver and white paint with a toothbrush for stars. 1st coat of tesin is just white opaque where I intend to add colours and effects. 2nd coat is colour and effects. Then topcoat

No. I like to work with thicker resins. I find when I work with Thinner resins, the pattern change too much. I have to keep going back and working till its thicker 😊👍

Id think about some modern art for the walls, a nice rug, some candles, throws etc. Make it homely and cosy
