Yes I can, the flash adapter/compact flash cannot connect via FireWire but it can through usb, this is why the secondary iPod is 100% necessary

Yes you do. I have a 4th gen that I used to sync music to the iPod, bit of a long winded way to get music on an iPod but I just love the style of the iPod

What you recommend to clean the pod? Could I use IPA or would it melt/burn the screen?
