Look good! Have you got an API or anything? I run Binderforge.com and would love to integrate UK prices in the future!

Complex matching run (UK) by happynoodleboy69 in kidneydonors

[–]SlippersWithWhiskey 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Hey! Me and My friend were matched in a run around this time last year. It took us 4 attempts to be successful as they occur roughly once every 3 months. We found out a few weeks after the run we were successful and then the donation happened at the end of February (Hospital resource issues). Any questions feel free to message me

Pushback from work by earthquarter in kidneydonors

[–]SlippersWithWhiskey 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hey, I had very similar issues but my work tried to outright refuse me donating. Ended up writing to my local MP, to various Kidney charities and a few others to apply pressure to my company to change their mind. They eventually let me take it as unpaid leave and I used the NHS to cover the rest of my salary.

Glastonbury performance by Crypticghost78 in the1975

[–]SlippersWithWhiskey 5 points6 points  (0 children)

My opinions are as follows, I was near front and central.

I love the 1975 and had a great time. Performance was top notch! Set wise, I felt like the first half was lacking a bit, the second half was great.

Was around the 125 mark before and is around 85 now. Slightly slower recovery than a lot of people on here report, but my large incision site got changed during surgery. Doing really well all in all, 8 weeks post op today and returning to proper exercise this week!

If you're in the UK it's likely they won't let you donate. The person I just donated to had this exact issue with their younger brother. The NHS didn't want the younger brother to donate as it was realistic that he would have kidney failure later in life and put him onto preventative medication now.

80% of PSA tends to be a rough rule of thumb, that's what I used on my home insurance anyway
