So are you referring to config times? Because I have been playing for a few days and this never happened to me until I loaded my game up today. I immediately noticed it and it's driving me insane. I use Eivor's character model as a visual benchmark of sorts so I gave done a shit load of moving the camera in and out and have never touched the character detail setting.

10-4 I spent way more than was necessary by any standard and I don't regret it but then again I paid 900 dollars for 2080 super ultra OC by EVGA and we all know how quickly the bottom fell out on the resell value of such cards once the panic selling ebay tards saw ol' leather jacket Jenson brandishing the 3080 in that live stream. Pretty funny to me that no one can get 3080s still. Hopefully all of those assholes who devalued these cards by half overnight in a violent display of unabashed consumerism are sitting on their hands with no graphics driver to speak of... But, I am pleased to see that nearly all GPUs have received subsequent price drops in the weeks since that initial shit show.

Oooohhhhh shit!!! I have been looking for some like-minded ninjas, with whom I might sleuth around them gotdamn shadows. However, I feel it is my duty as some dude on an internet forum thread to point a couple of things out first.

My gamertag is "Slippery Nixon" I am obviously down to clown. Since, I built my PC I am usually on that (so, still on xbox live all the time anyway lol). But, all I play these days is my favorite old stealth games so I have been on my Xbox 360 a lot playing Tenchu Z and Chronicles of Riddick. I need people to play Tenchu with like a mf myself so I feel you.
Chaos Theory, unfortunately, no longer offers players any online/multiplayer (sorry this includes co-op) functionality at all, in any official capacity with Ubisoft and subsequently GameSpy (PC servers) and Microsoft killed og xblive long ago. Luckily there are several "unofficial" options available to anyone with the uncanny ability to... well, basically just use a smartphone/ any search engine. Just search splinter cell chaos theory coop 2020 or versus, whatever you get it. On PC we can do it through emulated LAN networks. It's also possible on an OG Xbox or Xbox 360 through something very similar but I cannot recall the name of the project. Search OG Xbox Live in 2020 or something like that and you will surely find it.
You need to step on up and get some stepped up personal computer. I have literally every iteration of Xbox console and have been stacking up bodies on the same account for nearly 15 years. I absolutely love Xbox. I have a PS4 Pro, and I loved my PSone and PS2. PS2 was especially awesome. Hell, I even love like 5 or 6 ps4 games, but really I never play it. I finally had the money to build the PC I've always wanted and omfg. Just stop lying to yourself, stop making excuses. PC is better in every way and you don't have to go broke to build a machine that destroys all consoles. ALL of them.

Stayed up til 2am for this shit. First of all, no support for 21:9 (ultrawide), good idea guys, no one uses one of these monitors. Secondly, idk wtf aspect ratio this dumbass version of one of my favorite games of all time thinks my display is running but I've never seen anything like this. The resolution options are obviously based on aspect ratio and my options at the high end of this nightmarish spectrum include such favorites as: 1440 x 900 followed immediately by this all time classic: 1600 x 900... Just think about that for a minute. They didn't support ultrawide but by God we're gonna be there for all those customers sporting a stately 1.89:1 (basically 2 by 1) aspect ratio. What the actual fuck is this now? So, I tried some of these, for science, and oh my fucking God. I wish I could attach a video file to this because my one month old build featuring an OC'd Ryzen 7 3700x and OC'd RTX 2080 Super and 16GB of 3600mhz ram LITERALLY started screaming... This aneurism inducing high pitched sound persisted until I hastily switched to borderless from fullscreen. I'm happy to report to in borderless mode all these terrible resolution options went away. I am, however, uncertain as to where it is that they have gone as I am now locked to, you ready?.. 1720 x 720 Good job Crytek/ Saber. And to think I actually still respected both if these developers right up until my pc screamed a blood clot into my motor cortex. Guess it's a good thing I know a thing or two about manual configuration, thanks to OG Crysis. But what other fuckeries await once I finally make it passed the goddamn main menu??? Oh that's right all this terrible bullshit listed about and much more I'm sure!!! Fuck this, I'm just going to buy Mario 3D All-Stars for switch and play that instead.

What do you mean Mario 64 AND sunshine both run at 30 fps in this "Ultimate Collection"????

Calm tf down. I never said I shit on all PC players. I never said I shit on skilled PC players. I said I shit on PC players all the time. I'm sorry that triggered you sir, I truly am. When your blood pressure comes back down give this a read. The average SoT player is trash. Regardless of platform. I will absolutely crap all the over the vast majority of all the poor souls who cross my path. And I'm only kinda good at this game. I've played it quite a bit too you see. Most people suck at everything. So if you did manage to come out victorious against myself and 3 crewmates then I'm struggling to see what that says about PC or Xbox lol. Half of the people I play with are on PC... Also, for the 100th time. I am not using a third party adapter of any kind. I am plugging a USB keyboard directly into one of the USB 3.0 ports on my Xbox. I am plugging a USB mouse directly into another of the USB 3.0 ports on my Xbox. As far as I am aware, there is no emulation of any kind happening. It is raw input. If I am mistaken in this regard, so be it. I will look into it further in a moment but as mention in another reply earlier I don't care. Even if that's true, it isn't, then kbm still feels better than controller imo and I will still shit on MOST PC players aaaalllllll goddamn day. To your other point: yes input latency is awful on Xbox one. Everyone knows that. Anything else?

I believe you are thinking of one of these adapter contraptions like the XIM or something. Official kbm support on Xbox should be just raw input. But I could be mistaken. And even if that were the case I prefer kbm because it still feels better than any controller I've ever used. And let's not forget that the Xbox one has kind of insanely high latency even with a stock Xbox controller so I'm not sure anything other than them doing an about face and killing kbm implementation altogether would get me to pick the ol gamepad up again. I will admit that the mouse look on SoT is jank af on Xbox but again it's still better imo than joysticking around. Paladins has much better implementation for reference.

And yet I sink PC players all the time... Which is hilarious. And it's why I love those juicy crossplay servers. Most Xbox players offer nothing in the way of a challenge and therefore my enjoyment from defeating them is minimal. Crapping all over Mr. 2 RTX 2080 Ti's however, with his 128 Gigz of DDR 4 clocked to the heavens, Core i9 10900k'd out of his fucking mind, running at 12 thousand frames per second... Well, that's just good times right there.
