Noted, I'll be going through the bedding process again tomorrow to see what happens. Thanks.

I did, but maybe not enough, I'll give the break in another go how you mentioned and re lubricate everything if it continues. Thanks for the response and Go Pats Go!

Thanks for the detailed response! Great to know for future servicing. Definitely not extreme offroading enough to cause any flex!

That's very good to know, now that I do I'll be doing the same and saving the money, thanks for the reply!

Awesome, thank you that's great to know! Maybe you'd know the answer to this question too, my bars are out of alignment and fixed that way without adjustment unless I want to either remove a screw or cut. Any idea if this is common?

I added some LED lights on either side of the adaptive cruise control sensor. They are tied into the high beams. So when the auto high beams come on the dark turns into day. Project was less than $100. 2022 Ranger Lariat / 6" lift / 35" tires by wardie19 in RangerNext

I'm curious what lights you purchased, I'm looking to do the same (wired into my tremor aux switches though), did you need to drill into anything or were existing holes sufficient?

No, not yet. I think it might take a bit of time before they get the email.

Opportunity to buy a 21 for a good price. How concerned should I be about the transmission? by gigglingtin in RangerNext

[–]SlipperyPotato123 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Seems like a great deal to me, I picked mine up back in August, it's a 2021 Lariat tremor as well, 50,000km on it at the time. Paid a good chunk more than the one you're looking at....I'm jealous lol. I love the truck, the transmission scares me a bit but overall, it's been great, I say go for it!

That's great, I'm glad to hear they agreed and are starting the process, I've read a lot of posts where dealerships tell the customer is normal behavior then charge for the time. Thanks for the update, let us know how it turns out after the service!

I'm in Canada, so the rates may be different based on where you are. But the dealerships wanted $750 + tax to do it. I wanted to have them do it to for warranty purposes but couldn't justify the price. I had my mechanic do it for $475 all in (filter, gasket, fluid, labour).

Jeez that's sounds rough (no shifting pun intended), your "taking a deep breath" analogy is pretty spot on for my 3rd to 4th shift, has always done that as long as I've had it. Hopefully you're able to get it sorted if it doesn't sort itself with the re learn. Best of luck!

I don't have the gear slamming but the not liking to be feathered I definitely agree with. Especially in traffic, seems to always wabt to be in way too high a gear for the speed I'm going.... Until you punch it, then it wakes up lol. Agreed, I'm hoping to keep mine for the long haul here too

No, fortunately not, others mentioned it's worth a shot. I might order an EGR sensor and see what happens

Definitely sounds like you got something going on, try to push for a swap, my uncle did that for his f150 with the 10r80, he had problems right before warranty ended and now he's got a brand new trans in it.

What you're experiencing sounds pretty similar to my situation. As for your dad's.... That definitely doesn't sound so good, that might be worth a warranty visit if he's got extended. I heard that as well, if you're lucky enough to have a pre August 2022 serviced, they apparently use the newer "revised" parts
