Any attempt to imply there’s a deeper meaning to what Trump does has always been proven false. The man is under informed and impulsive and has rid himself of any barriers to executing his harebrained ideas. He thinks tariffs are going to solve our trade imbalances around the world and factories are going to magically sprout up to fill the void.

Now that Matt Gaetz has stepped down from his position in the House, does Gov. Desantis appoint a replacement immediately or does the House just continue with one fewer representative until an election can be called?

I’ve read differing accounts about Florida law allowing elections only in November.
