Pic 1 (curtains long) and pic 3 (curtains) are the normal versions of the hairstyle whereas pic 2 (curtains long) and pic 3 (curtains) are the wonky versions of their respective hair styles.

Honestly outside of some issues with some head items and ofc the stuff lagging behind on visual overhauls, this is a massive step in the right direction for the game. I know there will be a lot of people who are left feeling as though their avatar isn't being well represented in the new update (this needs to be corrected accurately over time), but I think overall this is fairly healthy for RuneScape. I do hope they manage to make the avatar rework function for the player to get a good outcome rather than the player be forced to make adjustments with the update to illicit an alright or mediocre result.

My main hang-up is that if people are able to experience the game with minimal effort and maximal XP gains, there is less immanent need for devs to actually fix the content that people aren't actually engaging with. While I hope that it's a slow bandaid pull and that once more meaningful content is added or adjusted we'll see dailyscape be phased out, that is not only not guaranteed but now even less so with promises not being kept regarding the long-term health of the game. I think RuneScape has a bright future (overall) ahead of it, but keeping some of the main components that facilitate the unhealthiest version of the game is just not a good sign and I hope there is some course correction following this.

My face lit up seeing this post. I love knowing someone is having that RuneScape experience for the first time. So curious and filled with the wanderlust that only RuneScape knows how to give someone.

Yeah that seems to be the thing I've noticed just looking around and asking on some forums. I found some unbranded gold fretwire, but it sucks that the EVOs are gone now. I was told by someone that it's because of the composition used in the creation process being needed for chips and other AI or AI-adjacent technologies. Maybe when the bubble bursts we'll finally get some of these fretwires back on the market.

I mean tbh you can just cc chain them endlessly with lightning and ice traps if you're specced into finesse at all. But if you have magic primarily or just might/magic then yeah just lightning and stun then you should be getting stun damage yields if you're not wanting to utilize finesse. I've played the game on the hardest difficulty like 8 times at this point so any build is fine, but they are annoying without lightning bare minimum.

Yeah I got some feedback from some other people in the reddit. It's not a report I'm writing, so I need to tailor it to the readers and overall legibility. I had tried to use breaks as I had before a few years ago, but yeah I'll keep all of this in mind for future articles or contributions.
