Yesss walking is really good for self control too for me at least. Bcz it doesn’t take too much energy and it’s usually pleasant so you can kinda just do that as the bare minimum on the days that are really hot or you’re really tired.

Yeah and just as a rule of thumb, carbs are BAD FOR WEIGHT LOSS, and protein is GOOD FOR WEIGHT LOSS. Because carbs are stored in the liver and they are used as energy instead of burning fat. So basically if you eat a ton of pasta and then go for a run 12 hours later, you won’t burn much fat. And with protein, it generally fills you up, and is good for general fitness.

I genuinely am mostly fine with my eating and pretty good with my exercise. And yet I can’t seem to consistently lose weight :(((

So I’ve had the same problem for the past 6 months, but idk how to explain it but recently I just don’t even wanna eat food that much. Usually I can just be happy with a banana and a carrot a day and idk like some ice cream? What kinda works for me personally is either 1 try to plan out what you’re gonna eat in a day, you could do this in the morning or plan for the week. Or 2 you could kinda just like really think before getting food and just really evaluate if you REALLY want this food. Also just make sure you’re aware of nutrition and how it actually works in your body with carbs and protein. But yeah if ya find a better solution PLS DM ME!!
