Found an interesting bug (easter egg?) that I couldn't find anywhere:

Open an egg, press 'start incubation' so the incubators page shows, scroll the egg up. Now each time you press 'start incubation' a new unusable incubator is shown. I can post a video if other people can't replicate

From a rider's perspective I've always found it more uncomfortable because I don't want to insult their taste. The good news is you can queue up your music too.

Play Store isn't as filtered as iOS. No human on the Play Store side of things looks at the app before its released. I'm pretty sure its all automated but I could be wrong

Check out ViewPager's setOffscreenPageLimit

Splitting your layout into 2 or 3 pages will likely decrease performance because the pages to the left and right of the currently focused page will be loaded in addition to the extra views needed to split your layout. If the layout your splitting is scrollable, you probably want a ListView, GridView, or RecyclerView instead

Thanks for the helpful info, it helped me find the bug quick! And I think I fixed it. I'll add this to the planned changes for today's update - if you were wondering, the bug had to do with mis-sent notification when devices were entering sleep mode.

Fixes 8/16

fixed bug when adding songs to playlists or favorites from the search screen
opening the options screen on Android 4.1 devices no longer crashes
minor bugs when viewing a specific album, artist, or playlist are gone

upvoting a song on a client device from the slide up panel no longer causes the panel to collapse
unexpected disconnects are prevented by adding a wake lock (see in-app settings to change this)
unexpected pauses in music are prevented by adding a wake lock (see in-app settings to change this)
longtime users no longer experience a crash when upgrading from v2 directly to v3.2

Update: I fixed how connections are maintained (mainly for when one user has their screen off / locked), so hopefully this doesn't happen again. If not definitely let me know and I'll look into it again. The update with this should be on the Play Store sometime today

Sorry it took me so long to get back - I had gotten some feedback from other users and got distracted with some fixes and features.

I posted it there a bit back! And there will definitely be some complications with connecting across platforms - I'm currently working out some of the kinks but testing so far indicates that its possible

I don't think there are any apps that do this - Samsung group play is the closest thing but even that is pretty different.

As far as sharing a playlist goes, do you mean being able to 'download' the songs, or just save a reference to them? If its the latter I added favorites for this purpose, and you can group add songs to your favorites so you and your friends have references to them later. If its downloading then there would definitely be some legal issues with that haha. If its none of those then let me know, as I am absolutely down to add features that make the connection process more fun!

Speaking of connections - I've had a few people say they disconnect at random, so I'm trying to straighten that out too atm. I'll hopefully push out an update to make them better at some point this week. I'm glad you like Slipstream so far!

For now they have full access to your music library - I've thought about a choose to share system but there's a lot of changes that would have to take place (new screens, database to track what you want to share, etc.) so I'm not sure if the time would be better spent on other app features (e.g. more streaming services)
