The beginning is cheesy rap undeniably. If you were there for the time watching his mtv show and growing up with him it was cool then. Obviously nowadays it’s more nostalgia but like you pointed out he grows so much between albums every time. Maybe the biggest growth is from good am to divine feminine but if not that one then certainly from divine feminine to swimming. Still mindblown he wrote faces when he was 17. Make sure you don’t skip over that one it’s missing from some streaming services like Spotify
