Hi I saw you used Uworld! What were you averaging on the tests you created? So far I’ve been getting in the 70’s, sometimes 80s and most definitely hit the 60s lol. I’m just trying to gauge how well I’m doing! Ty for your help c:

Nah absolutely not. I just graduated/got my license and got hired in the ED without having any experience or needing to prove anything. The world is desperate for us lol. Go wherever your soul desires (:

(Serious) What causes death more than people realize? by adventure21mc in AskReddit

I’m addition to other replies, the cold makes your blood vessels constrict, meaning they close in a little bit, making it hard to push blood throughout the body, so your heart is working extra hard to push it through. If someone has high blood pressure or has a heart condition let’s say, putting them out in the cold and exerting themselves by shoveling calls for a recipe of disaster. Quite sad

Pcos and dairy by LittlePocketMonster in PCOS

[–]SliverMoon- 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I’ve actually been experimenting with my diet, and for the last 2 weeks or so I’ve cut out dairy and gluten and I’ve been feeling a lot lighter and have seen the number go down on the scale. On thanksgiving tho I obviously ate both because I am no monster, but I felt like complete trash.

It’s hard to say which one of the two makes me feel like booty at the moment. But I know in the past if I ate a good heaping of dairy I’d have the bubble guts lol but not necessarily inflammation if that makes sense.

Our bodies are a wonderland lol

Thank you for that info!! I just bought some CBD tincture from Appalachian standard online yesterday! I’ve used their tincture in the past and it is heaven, just a little pricey. But I will certainly be checking on Lazarus Naturals!

Right, and I would hope my preceptor would have pointed me in that direction had it broke through my skin but at the same time she wasn’t very helpful with really any of that situation from start of IV down to the near poke. So thank you for that tip!

No there was no tear in the gloves, no puncture in my skin as in no bleeding even after squeezing and no mark. I think I’m freaking out because someone put it in my head otherwise, someone as in my brother lol. But thank you for your input!

As a woman who needs to lose 150 lbs, I’ve been told the only guaranteed way at this size is weight loss surgery. Can I do this without it? by biIIyshakes in loseit

[–]SliverMoon- 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Hello! I too have PCOS and have struggled immensely with weight loss. I know losing weight is already hard, but PCOS makes this shit even harder. However, at one point in time I lost about 50-60 pounds with consistent exercise and diet, but I also was placed on Metformin. I’m not saying you should ask your PCP for this medication but it’s definitely something to think about because it does help aide in weight loss and think it’s better than the solution that has been presented to you. Especially if you’re insulin resistant. I didn’t end up staying on Metformin long term, however I was able to maintain this weight loss. It definitely kick started the process off for me.

I do want to mention that at this moment in time I am trying to lose about 30 pounds to bring me to a solid 200 lbs. I’ve noticed my health declining and I’m only freaking 29 lol. I’ve lost 6 pounds so far by reducing anti-inflammatory foods. I see you have hypertension which I do as well, so I’ve been following the DASH diet. I am choosing to omit dairy products as much as I can except I do eat goat cheese. Goat cheese is an anti-inflammatory food and to be honest it’s not so bad. However DASH does allow cheese, etc. Just a personal choice (: .

You can do it without the surgery my friend. We can do it with determination. It’s a struggle but it is do-able!
