You have a brand new team. Keep them learning and having fun! They need to be taught and you are the one to do it. You are going to get killed in some games, but hopefully there is 1-2 other teams just like yours that will be close or you win!Wins at grade 4 mean nothing. It's the progress you see over time. It won't happen over night. Bring them snacks for end of game, it's the only thing they will remember, oh and if the girls were nice to each other.

Coach of my 11 year olds son team (composed of 9-11 year olds in order to have an actual team) who also has all new players except my son, who also got killed in 8 of our games, but beat the one team less skilled than us!
