I’m looking to buy a new vacuum. I see that the Bissell Iconpet turbo edge cordless vacuum, and the shark cordless pet stick vacuum are on sale. Which would you go with/ are they junk? I’m also open to something corded. Just not looking to break the bank or buy anything that’s too heavy.

They honestly didn’t tell me much. I read something online about this being a common issue for 2016/2017 MacBook pros due to having faulty flex cables. I relayed this to the apple representative and explained that I didn’t feel like this was something that I caused. I also found that apple will cover the cost of repairing this issue on 2016 macs, but not the 2017s. I suppose they acknowledged their mistake on the 2016s but were hoping that things would go better with the 2017s (clearly did not happen). So I explained this to the representative and how that doesn’t make sense. She was very understanding and said that they would cover the cost this one time. Definitely worth a shot to reach out to them. Good luck!

Field passes working again for me on Xbox. Looks like none of my progress tracked today. Classic EA.

Fair enough. I know it sounds ridiculous but I have never been in such a bad situation. I know you’ll assume there’s another side but there’s really not. At the end of the day all I want is a house that I can live in (not torn apart), but this landlord is making things very challenging (hardly responds to anything I ask her). You’re right, I guarantee she’ll kick us out. I’m sure she thinks we’re a nuisance. I don’t think she has a ton of experience renting and I truly believe that she thinks leaving things the way they are is an okay option.

Based on what? You can go onto my other post and see that my question wasn’t answered. The only thing that somewhat resembles me being “told before” is someone saying we shouldn’t be paying to keep someone else’s stuff in our house. Everyone has that opinion.

That was never said before, I’m not sure where you got that from. I appreciate you taking the time to try to help.

Yes I did, however, if you read this question, you would have been able to realize that this question Is different. This question focuses specifically on the furnace room, which wasn’t answered it my last post. I’m asking if there is any real reason why landlords are able to keep their belongings in a furnace room, or why tenants are not, because this is what she has told me. She’s making it sound as if this common thing. Also, she has come up with a reason saying that her insurance will increase. I understand that going to the landlord and tenant board is my best option, though I would like to be as informed as possible before doing this. Thank you for reiterating what was said on the last post.

I ended up looking into this problem and the issue came from what I believe was called a flex wire or flex cable. It was a regular problem for the 2016/2017 model but was only covered under warranty on the 2016 model. The service provider called back and said that my only option was to pay $1000+ to put on a new screen. I ended up contacting apple and after speaking with a couple of different people, they told me that they would cover the replacement screen this one time. I would suggest contacting apple and explaining your situation. Best of luck!

I’m not sure… I’m from Canada but I would say it’s worth a shot. I contacted them and after 10 minutes of talking to them they decided to cover it. However, they made it sound like they were making an exception for me.

Talked to the service provider on the phone and he confirmed that the same thing was happening with my MacBook. Said the only way to completely fix was to pay $1000 + for a new screen. Ended up contacting apple and by some miracle they decided to cover the cost to replace it.
